Life with Mom and Tina Ch 23
Previously:
“No, But you said that you might.” Bette asked.
“I told them what we had left to do could wait until tomorrow.” Tina said.
“I am glad that you did.” Bette said.
“So how are our babies.” Tina asked putting her hand on Bette’s slightly expanding Belly.
“They are fine.” Bette said. “I hope they don’t turn out to be Mexican jumping beans, Because that is what they feel like now.” She put her hand on Tina’s. “Jess didn’t start jumping around like this until at least 4 months.”
“Well there are two of them in there.” Tina said.
“At least I haven’t been that sick like I was with Jess.” Bette said.
“Where is Jess?” Tina asked “I didn’t see her in the playroom.”
“She went out to dinner with the Sr. Team to celebrate.” Bette said.
“You let her go with them by herself!” Tina said.
“Relax, Alice went with her. Apparently Lilly was flirting with her pretty hard.” Bette said.
“Really?” Tina said.
“Yeah, Alice said that she bring Jess her after they ate.” Bette said. The artist walked in. “There’s Ann.” Bette said to Tina before walking away from her. After about two hours Alice and Jess walked in.
“Mama!” Jess said running over to Tina.
“Hey sweetheart.” Tina said hugging Jess.
“Guess what?” Jess asked.
“What” Tina replied.
“Kelly, Carla, Maggie and I get to be Bat girls for the Sr. Team.” Jess said excitedly.
“You do. That’s great.” Tina said.
“That means I get to travel with them and everything.” Jess said with a big smile.
“You do.” Tina said.
“yep.” Jess said.
“Hey Alice how was dinner?” Tina asked.
“Al has a date on Friday.” Jess teased.
“Big mouth.” Alice said.
“You were gonna tell her anyways.” Jess said.
“I know that but I wanted to be the one doing the telling.” Alice said.
“So its okay for you to tell everyone else’s secrets but I can’t tell yours.” Jess said knowing that she was stepping out of bounds.
“Jess you know that is not the way to speak to adults.” Tina said. “Now go play in the playroom I will be there in a minute we need to talk about what happened at school today.” Jess got a surprised look on her face and hurried into the playroom.

Jess is a good girl just she is a little freak out and i undersatand her, thanks to Bette and Tina who loves her so much. i can`t imagine their 3 children run over all the house! i am waiting for the next weding wekeend. excelent post, writte soon
i’m glad jess is coming around, hopefully by the time the twins are born, she’ll be happier and love them
Even though they are having twins I’d still like Tina to get pregnant.
ok maybe my comment in the pervious chapter was over done, but I still think Bette can loosen those “reins” a bit. Tina is so much more affectionate and tries to include Jess in the little things. And what I don’t understand is Y oh Y does everybody think that if a child is showing “problems/issues” in class or else where they’re so quick to label it. I’ve known a lot of ppl like that including my own brother, and they’ve all turned out to be Highly spiritual or in some great profession. OH WELL I ALWAYS ENJOY READING, AND WE’RE ALL ENTITLED TO OUR OPINIONS…SO UPDATE SOON!!!!!!
I knew Jess would start coming around. yay!
Mikey and Teddy…those are cute. I’m so glad Jesse turned and went back to Bette…they both needed that. Jesse has been through a lot, but she must know she’s loved. Really love how this story is going, please continue.
Mikey and Teddy Cute, Jesse can be a pain in the ass, but Bette and Tina loves her so much.Al has a date Let see if she tell the gang all that goes on thanks
very cute.
Drama-free wedding! We need a drama-free chapter. Honestly if my mom said she was having a baby I’d probably freak out too, not just because she’s had her tubes tied, but because I’ve been an only child for 26 years. I can’t remember if I mentioned it before, but I’m glad Jess has really taken a liking to softball. I was worried she’d be a pain in the butt in a group activity like that.
Good chapter and love about Jess and the babies name!
I love this story. It’s always great to see and update from you and you do it so well. Your treatment of these characters is fantastic and so real. All their emotions are right on point…. especially an only child…prepubescent being a pain in the butt…. and pushing the boundaries with her parents…. and then going back to being the the baby and seeking affirmation of their love for her. Keep up the excellent work. Thanks.
