"Yes." Cat answered.

"Why did you split?" Dana asked.

"Because I was going off to college and I didn’t want to string out a long distance relationship that probably wouldn’t have worked out in the long run." Cat answered with out wavering.

"Do you regret it?" Tina asked.

"No. I still believe it was the right thing to do at the time. I thank my lucky stars that we were brought back together because in the three years we were apart I always thought about her and if I had done the wrong thing." Cat said.

"Why?" Bette asked.

"I love her. I love her more than anyone else I have ever been with. I will love her unconditionally until the day I die." Cat said.

"That’s so sweet, but Jess said earlier that you might get together you might not. What does that mean?" Alice said.

"We are taking it slow. At least we are trying. We are different people than we were three years ago. We need to decide if we might have something." Cat said.

"So if you decided that you have something together. Then what are your plans for the future?" Bette asked.

"I don’t know about Jess, but I am in it for the long haul. I am not going to pretend that I haven’t had other relationships because I have, but I know what I want out of life and who I want. If that means I have to wait for her then I will wait as long as it takes." Cat said.

Tina looked over at Jess. She could tell that this was the first time that Jess was hearing some of this stuff also.

"So you think it’s true love?" Kit asked.

"I do." Cat said.

"Do you have a long term plan?" Bette asked.

"I have what I like to call a long term sketch." Cat said.

"And what is it?" Bette asked.

Angelica had toddled over to where Jess was sitting and Jess had picked her up. She was sitting in Jess’s lap and was playing with some kind of pool toy. Jess was pretending not to pay attention, but Tina could see right through it.
