Previously:
"I know. I don’t know whether to feel old or proud." Tina said.
"Proud." Bette said.
"Me too." Tina said.
Jess and Emily laid in their beds talking about the game the next day and how they thought it would go.
"So what do you think of the other team?" Emily asked.
"Well I think their defense is awesome, but I think we can handle them as long as we stick together." Jess said.
"So you think we have a chance?" Emily asked. Jamie was a newcomer to the team and the relief catcher.
"You can’t think like that." Jess said.
Someone knocked at the door.
Emily got up and answered the door.
"Jess its for you." she said crawling back into her bed.
"Who is it?" Jess asked pulling on her zippered hoodie.
"Who do you think?" Cat said standing in the door way.
"What are you doing here?" Jess asked pulling the door closed behind her.
"I couldn’t sleep with out seeing you." Cat said.
"Yeah right." Jess said.
"Okay so you are right. I just wanted to see you." Cat said.
"Isn’t that sweet." Allison said walking out of the elevator headed for her bedroom.
Jess wasn’t sure why her relationship with Cat was okay with the other coaches, but she was glad it was.
"Hey Coach." Jess said.
"You girls don’t stay up to late okay." She said.
"We won’t." Cat said with a smile. She was hoping that she was going to be able to talk Jess into going out with her for awhile.
Allison went into her room living the girls alone. The was a brief silence while they were both thinking about what they wanted to do.
"You wanna go for a walk with me?" Cat asked.
"I guess just let me get some other clothes on." Jess said and headed back into the room. Cat quickly followed.

They walked down the quiet romantic street hand in hand.
"You know I am glad we are taking it slow." Cat said.
"Oh yeah why is that?" Jess asked.
"Because I get to get to know you again." Cat said.

Sweet I’m first!!! Great chapter again!! I think things with Cat and Jess are going to be heating up pretty soon…I just hope they are hella loud bcz the rest of the team has a game tomorrow! haha~
What an evening they are in store for with both trying not to be intimate. Don’t think that will work for them. Great story.
I just noticed how different the dynamic between Cat and Jess is compared to what it was between Jess and Laurie. Jess doesn’t seem so alpha with Cat and it’s weird to me.
Will Jess be able to handle her emotions and also play well? She doesn’t want to let her team down. Softball is a team sport or maybe she one of those individuals that can raging all night sex and play the game of their life the next day.
I hope Cat and Jess manage to actually sleep!post soon =)
I don’t know which one is closer to giving up and starting something with the other. I wish that Shannon and Jess can become closer. B&T are so cute together. Tina hopefully will be able to push aside her jealousy. Bette loves her and only her when it comes to partners. Glad to see you posting again.

Charmed, Thank you for another couple of wonderful treats. The juxaposition that Jess and Cat are feeling is only to be expected as they reaquaint themselves with one another. They both feel the temptation and trepidation of consummating their physical relationship. Think it is gonna be a long night.
