CHAPTER FORTY: Poor Little Rich Girl
Kennard Apartment. Monday Morning.
“Honey?” Ken Kennard shouted out as he knocked on his daughter’s bedroom door. Hearing no answer from inside, he tried again. As usual, his late rising daughter was possibly still sleeping. Bette, always the punctual one, would probably arrive to pick her up in an hour’s time. “Tina?” He called out a little louder as he banged his fist on the wood. A muffled grunt was heard followed by a loud thump and then slow and heavy footsteps before the door opened up to reveal a disheveled and tired-looking Tina. “Hey..” Ken furrowed his brows as he studied his daughter’s appearance, she looked as if she had been hit by a ten wheeler truck and then backed up a couple of times more. “Are you okay?” He felt Tina’s temperature with the back of his hand, she didn’t have a fever but she was a little bit warm.
Tina groaned as she gripped the side of the door to keep herself from collapsing on the floor, her knees were so wobbly. “I’m okay..” She grinned lopsidedly and then grimaced as her overused muscles began to spasm some more. She looked up and forced a smile as her father’s worried face came into view. “Just feeling a little.. umm.. sore..” She coughed out and looked down at her feet, avoiding her father’s gaze.
Ken pursed his lips together as he observed his fidgeting daughter, despite claims to the contrary, she appeared as though she was in great pain. It was like every movement of her body required tons of effort on her part. “I think we have a couple of pain meds inside the kit. I’ll go get you some.” Ken sighed. Tina rubbed the back of her neck as she felt a mixture of fatigue and embarrassment engulfing her. “Don’t worry kiddo, everyone feels sore after their first time.” Ken winked. Tina blinked as her hand stilled at the back of her neck. Did he just..? “It can get especially painful around your hips and legs but you’ll survive.” He smiled reassuringly as he ruffled Tina’s messy blonde hair. Ken turned around just in time to miss the deer caught in headlights look on his daughter’s face.

Great chapter, I’m so proud of Bette! I think her $500K cushion might not be enough, for some reason. I loved the way U explained how sore Tina was from all the love making & how she explained to her dad about riding a black beauty all day-such a classic use of a metaphor referring to sex. Only someone like Bette would think 500 thousand was being poor-Too funny!!! Great job as always.
