“That’s a good idea. It’s one less thing Tina has to worry about. When Mel gets here we’ll see what he thinks? Also Shane I want you to go in a couple of minutes before everyone else. Play it like you’re making a social call. It will be less frightening for her knowing you’re there by her side at the onset.” Dan surmised.
Shane cautioned, “Dan another thing, when Bette asks you where Tina is, just say she’s on the phone with some guy named Aaron. That’s Tina’s boss. Bette will be satisfied with that answer.”

“Hey Mel, follow me.” Dan waves as he enters the vacant room again. “Mel like I told you on the phone, I think we have a problem with the doctors? Nobody has talked to Tina.”
Mel remarks, “Don’t f*cking tell me their not talking to Tina because she’s not family? Are the doctor’s homophobic? That cunt better not pull that shit with me! Tina is Bette’s partner for God’s sake. Is Doctor Lennon here yet? I want answers dammit!”
Dan acknowledges, “I haven’t seen anyone yet. Listen if Dr. Lennon tries to make excuses just tell her that Bette and Tina are my patients, and that I see them as a couple. That should be good enough.”

Mel and Dan are waiting for the doctor’s as they arrive at Bette’s door. Mel sees the doctor’s at the end of the hall. “Dr. Lennon, Dr. Newman we would like to talk to the both of you in private before we begin.” The two doctors’ follow Mel and Dan. Mel starts the questioning. “Before we begin has Bette’s foot wound been taken care of Dr. Newman?”
Dr. Newman responds. “Bette has a cigarette burn on the bottom of her left foot. The doctor cleaned it out in the Emergency Room. But Bette also has welts on the bottom of both feet. It looks like they took a curling iron or something like it, and put it against her feet to torture her into submission. We cleaned the blisters. She needs to take her antibiotics and stay off her feet as much as possible for a couple of days until the scabs have formed.”
Mel is trying to hold the anger in. “Dr. Newman why hasn’t Tina been informed of this?”

What the hell! This is like something out of the twilight zone. Why would someone do something like that to Bette? Has this been going on since before Bette met Tina or more recently? Please post soon we have to know what is going on.
What the hell,after reading 51 pages,you droped uss like a hot potatoe. This sounds and reads like something out of the twilight zone. I like it and hope you write more soon. Rather have 10 short chapters and that way I dont have to stop to do things and go back to reading. thanks

Ahh not nice to leave us like that after 51 pages, Im on the edge of my chair here. Damn that was awesome and great twist, why the hell people doing that to Bette, this is crazy, poor Bette. Hope they will help her through this, and she will be ok. Please get those basters to jail or kill them would be better, I just wanted to kill them for doing this to Bette, and poor Tina too. Please post more, thanks!
