So Tina tried her best to make herself busy to avoid the awkward situation waiting with Bette and Jodi. After a few weeks of being back she knew that she couldn’t exclude herself from the group for much longer and decided now would be the time to make her presence known to Helena.

As she dialled Helena’s number Tina knew she wouldn’t just be able to make up for all the wrong she’s done in one phone call so she decided, that flowers, chocolate and bubbly were the way to a woman’s heart. She texted Helena a short message

I’m not sure if you knew I was back in town. I hope all is well with your life. Ive missed having you to talk to as a friend. I never wanted anything to come between us, but I know I was wrong for what I did. Im sorry. I hope you accept my apology, and the gifts.

She wasn’t sure if even the message would get Helena to forgive her but it was worth a try. Tina was lonely, but as much as her heart still ached she couldn’t run away from this again. She loved Bette with all her heart but maybe love does just expire. Maybe life isn’t all what you expect it to be.

As Helena began her joined life with Olivia, it was hard for both of them for different reasons. Olivia found it hard to move on from how her accident came about. She knew that it wasn’t Helena’s or Tina’s fault but she just wished that night didn’t happen at all. It was suppose to be the night where she would tell Helena for the first time that she did love her; it wasn’t as if Helena didn’t know she cared. But the words could just never escape her lips. But that day when she received the text from Helena about coming over…it seemed like the perfect time for romance.

And with the shortest message in history Tina felt this was a new beginning not the best possible one she had hoped for but at least this was something. It seemed life had changed around her in LA 4months is such a long time when you leave. People move around leave people the love behind all the time, space sis something you can have in the same county but Tina didn’t regret leaving in fact it was the best decision she had made in her life. She may have lost Bette to Jodi but she knew she was going to lose her regardless because she had been feeling unhappy for a while in their relationship.
