“He’s with Bette and Tina at the moment they had him over night, which reminds me I thought he would be back by now. I won’t be long girls.”

Jenny and Helena both sat there in an unsatisfying silence Shane had left them both together. They cared for each other but rarely found anything that they had in common with one another. Jenny excused herself claiming she had things she had to be getting along with, although Helena was not bothered of her friends white lie. She knew this had to have been the most awkward situation she had encountered with Jenny in the few years she’d known her.

Shane arrived back with Shay in tow and much to Helena’s surprise there stood Tina and Bette with Angelica in her arms. As amazement struck over Shane knew she had done the right thing telling them both that Helena was here, although her silver Bentley should have given it away.

“It’s good to see you” Tina ran towards her friends and landed into her body with some force which jolted Helena slightly making her lose her footing. Tina had not even noticed the stumble, as she hugged her tightly she slowly whispered “I want you back”.

Helena did not know to respond it had been a few years since she had seen Tina in that light,

What the fucks going on? This has got to be some kind of joke surely; all these women are throwing themselves at me I guess that’s what always happens when you just get yourself into a relationship. Tina’s got to be lying if she felt like this she would of said something to be before now and in this situation with Bette standing right there. This can not be happening this is Tina, Bette’s love of her life Tina. I can not get caught up in this triangle again I nearly lost my mind the last time.

As Helena peeled her body back from Tina’s air-squeezing hug, she felt she was finally able to breathe at ease now. Bette came over give her a weak smile and half hearted hug. Bette was trying not to be mean to Helena and was over the whole situation she just knew in her mind that Tina didn’t seem to be, it always tug at her heart strings. She found herself to believe that Helena was not interested in Tina no longer and moved on long ago from the love affair, but the woman she shared her bed with each night she felt betrayal. Although she could not prove Tina felt this way was she would deny that she had any feeling for Helena point blank, Bette could tell that there was something wrong.
