On her way to her car she thought about filling her time up as she knew she still had a lot of time to pass until her love returned from work, so she thought about going to see the gang.

As Helena drove her car, she couldn’t concentrate her mind was still filled with thoughts of her best friend’s teary eyes. It just wasn’t right that she found herself to be so happy and for her friend to be suffering in silence like she had been doing. She remembered how the closeness to Alice was like the first feeling she had of reciprocated love, that feeling was so over-whelming to her and still was. Alice loved her and that made her smile, she only wished she could help her through the pain, but she knew Alice was a strong woman and would pull through it.

Without really being conscience of the road and where she was driving to she looked up from behind the wheel to realise that she had arrived at her destination. Parked in between Jenny and Bette’s houses, she quickly jumped out and locked the car deciding she would go to Jenny’s house first as there was still an awkwardness between herself, Bette and Tina.

Jenny greeted Helena by a simple hug which wasn’t filled with love just empty air and distance between them both, as Shane came down the stairs to see who had just arrived she was a taken back by the sight of Helena. As she ran and through her friend into a tight excited embrace, she had missed her British queen. Although Shane had not visited Helena she would hope that she would be able to understand her circumstance of being a guardian to Shay now.

As both women pulled back from the embrace they looked at one another fondly, whilst Jenny was in the kitchen preparing them all a drink. Helena and Shane sat together on the sofa catching up on old times.
