Chapter 10: The aftermath: Confessions
Bette pulls up and shuts the car off…we both sit in the car and nothing was said…I looked over at her and she looked so embarassed…she looked as though she hated for me to see her cry…of all the years that we’ve been together I can honestly say that I never saw her cry…well except at our wedding…I didn’t move or utter a word…if Bette wanted to talk she would have to come half way and open up to me about how she felt…
I touched her shoulder and she looked over at me…she didn’t say anything..she just stared at me…I was beginning to get afraid because she never was this silent…Bette always said something…I looked at her cautiously and said…
“you wanna go inside?”
she said…
“no…I think I should drop you off and we both call it a night”
I didn’t understand what was going on?…just a moment ago she agreed to this and now she was shutting me out again…I asked…
“why?…I thought you wanted to talk?”
she looks over at me and says…
“I did…but I changed my mind…personally I would rather be alone at the moment…”
I swallow hard and say…
“well does this have something to do with me?”
she didn’t respond…and before I knew it she was staring the car and backing out of the driveway…I watched her turn around in her set and shift the gear to drive and she pulled off…I begin to feel annoyed and bothered…why was she shutting me out…she then says…
“no…this doesn’t have anything to do with you…it’s me…I just need to be alone at the moment”
I then say…
“okay I understand but…what’s wrong?…besides you needing your time?”
I look at the rode and I see her change lanes quickly breezing past the green light….I look at her when she says…
“I’d rather not talk about it at the moment…”
and I say…
“but when?”
we pull up in front of Alice’s and she shuts the car off…she looks at me and says…
“I don’t know…it’s just…never mind”
oh god there she goes again…would she just say it…before I could respond to her broken sentence she had already exited the car and walked over to my side…she opened the door and extended her hand to me…and I took it as she led me back upstairs…Alice was out and I was alone…she kissed me on the cheek and turned around…I said quickly…

finally some brave attitude from Bette..hide her emotions wont work..im gald Tina was able to hear even to hear means suffer..oh i think Bette could ask Tina to move back maybe to the guess room is not fear in her condicion sleep on the couch…ok..more and more please thanks :o)

ok so maybe there’s hope after all, there’s no right reason for cheating, but if you look on the show you can clearly see the amount of pressure that Bette has on her with keeping everything a float, not just with Tina but all her friends and family come to her with their problems and she has to fix them all because that’s what they expect from her, I love Bette, she is a surviver and she never gives up, and I don’t see her giving on Tina is this story either, fight for your woman Bette, til the end!
