    Fast forward a few years, Conner and friends are out celebrating Conner’s birthday."Hey Shane! You want another drink?" Conner yelled over the music."No" Shane yelled back waving conner off before heading over to a group of girls. Conner, Alice, and Helena went to find a table since they were exhausted from partying for hours already.

    Soon they found one that wasn’t being used annd was clean."Damn, who’s that?" Conner asked eyeing a girl who had walked by. The girl was mexican with beautiful flowing dark hair and a curvy body."Oh my God Conner,you sreiously don’t know who that was?" Alice exclaimed in disbielf."wasn’t that-?" Helena said before Alice cut her off."Yes, That was the infamous,well actually famous,one and only, the wonderful-"Alice began rambling."ALice, to the point,please."Conner said getting annoyed."i was getting there, thats was Carmen" Alice said pouting that her fun had been ruined by Conner’s impatience."Wait,THE Carmen?Like the one that Shane was engaged to?" Conner pondered.

    Alice and Helena nodded. Alice noticed that Conner was gewtting her I’m-up-to-no-good look in her eyes."hundred bucks says I can hook up with her by the end of the night." Helena and Alice exchange worried glances."SHANE!!We have a problem!!"Alice yells turning and almost falling off her stall.Shane jogs over,"what’s up?""Conner is trying to hook up with Carmen" "wait Carmen’s here?""yeah""hmm…conner how much did you bet?" "hundred bucks" "okay i’ll contribute to this bet." Conner smiled. Alice stared at Shane in disbielf."See ya" Conner stood up and headed towards the stage where the DJ was set up.After struggling through the crowd, Conner finally reached the mixer-table only to find that Carmen wasn’t there." Shit." Conner muttered to herself. "excuse me" a soft voice said behind Conner. Conner stepped aside and let the woman pass.

    It was Carmen.

    "Hi I’m Conner" "Are you here to request a song?" "uh…no actually i thought you looked a little thirsty." Conner reached behind and grabbed a drink off a tray that a waitress was carring around."thanks" "no problem<so whats your name?" "Carmen""thats a beautiful name"Carmen looked down and from what Conner could see in the limited light Carmen was blushing."SO are you seeing anyone?""no my last relationship ended badly." "really? I’m sorry""thanks" Conner reached into her cargo pant and pulled out a CD."do you want to come over later and listen to this with me?""that would be nice, but i get off so late.""thats not a problem,what time do you get off?" "at 2am.""i can wait till the my roommates won’t be home till around that time anyway.So i’ll see you then?" Carmen nodded. Conner headed back to her table.
