    I’d rather leave you than be the cause of your pain

     

    Tina’s face fellBette continued

     

    Bette: This innocent child who doesn’t deserve all this otherness that will be placed upon himits unfair and cruel Your family will never accept me nowand I don’t think I have the money to afford the amount of therapy we will need

     

    Tina noticed Bette’s attempt at a joke but refused to acknowledge itshe was seething

     

    Tina: I want you in my lifeYou are my familyand how I raise what will be our childmeaning you and I, will be my choice, no one else’s We will love him or her so much that any sort of “otherness” your so concerned about wont even matter

     

    Bette stared at Tina’s determined face get angrier with each word she let out. Bette didn’t want to end on a fight, they had to many good times together to end that way.

     

    Tina: and Eric’s involvement

     

    Her voice trailed off as she saw Bette begin to approach her slowly. Once she reached Tina, she was unsure what to do next so she just hugged her. Taking in the scent of her bodyshe ran her fingers through her soft hair, catching the aroma of her shampooFamiliarizing herself with Tina’s facetrying to save it to her memory as best she could.

     

    She gazed into Tina’s eyes, holding herwatching her hazel eyes reflect love and fearshe watched them until he own vision blurred with tears

     

    She leaned in and ever so gently placed a faint kiss upon Tina’s lip. Upon connection Bette’s tears fell onto Tina’s cheek.

     

    Tina leaned into the kiss opening her mouth and gently sucking on Bette’s upper lipBette relished the feel of Tina’s tongue massaging her own

     

    Bette broke the kiss and kissed Tina on her neck and squeezing her tighter. She took note how perfect their bodies molded together. Somewhat like a puzzle their bodies fit together perfectly.

     

    As this thought Bette had a flashback from when she was child. She had often loved to play with puzzles as a kid. As she had gotten older and the puzzles gotten harder her enthusiasm only grew when she would find a piece that would fit perfectly. Now as she finally found the one piece that would complete her life and fit with her perfectly, she couldn’t find the happiness in this moment like she had once when she was a child.

     

    Tina moaned quietly at the feel of Bette’s soft and wet kisses on her neck. The sound snapped her out of her flashback.

     

    She remembered her intentions

     

    She brought her lips up to Tina’s earsbreathed slowly into as her thoughts finally came together.

     

    Bette: I love you so much baby. You are the one I’m meant to be with. I feel it in my mind heart and soul

     

    Tina smiled, her embrace tightening her arms around Bette…Bette on the other hand took a deep breath before she continued.

     

    Bette: And realizing how much I care for youand how I want you to be happy it’s best if I leave you nowI will only add stress to your life and I don’t want to be the cause of your long term misery

     

    Bette wasn’t even able to finish her sentence because Tina had pushed her away and turned her back on BetteBette caught a glimpse of Tina’s face before she turned around and her face was already glistening with tears.

     

    Bette reached her hand out to try and grab Tina’s but Tina ripped it away abruptly

     

    Tina: Just ***** leaveyou never loved meIt’s apparent nowIf you did you would stay with me but the second things get tough you want to leave

     

    Bette: But..

     

    Tina: Your supposed to be by my side through everythingyou know what Your right I’m glad I see this nowI see you for who you really areand I don’t want you in my lifeJust get the ***** out and don’t you ever come back

     

    Bette stood there stunnedher heart broken

     

    Bette: Babe

     

    Tina Don’t you go thereI never want you to see you againdon’t even talk to me now go

     

    Bette: Tee

     

    Tina yelled out “Goooo now”

     

    Bette stood thereshe nodded her headif they had to end angrily well then that’s how it had to be

     

    She walked passed Tina towards the door not looking at Tina’s angry glare and as she reached the doorsomeone was at the other end banging hard and furiously

    30. Okay, I can see it’s going to take a while for our girls to get to a place where they will be civil with each other. I definately understand where Tina’s coming from. I was hoping Bette would be stronger, but being in love, is so new to her, that she just doesn’t know how to react. I’m counting on some kind of reconciliation somewhere, a few chapters from now. Are you going to hold out on us, for awhile, again?! Hope not!
