Helena: Lara?
Lara looks up and sees Helena and Carmen.
Lara: Hi.
Helena: Is everything alright?
Lara: ……..I’m….preparing brunch.
Lara quietly goes back to what she was doing as Helena looks at Carmen, who’s focused on Lara.
Carmen: Need any help?
Lara: No, thank you. I’m fine.
Helena: Lara…Ali-
Carmen reaches up and squeezes Helena’s arm tightly, causing Helena to stop in the middle of talking. Lara’s not even looking at them, so she does not notice Carmen vigorously shaking her head at Helena.
Helena: I’ll…um….wait in the living room.
Back at The Planet, Bette sits at a table with Shane and Angus. Bette has little Angelica in her arms.
Angus: I didn’t realize last night was so…crazy.
Shane: It’s all in what you notice, man.
Bette: So, she just left in the middle of the night? That’s what Kit was saying this morning.
Shane: Where she go?
Angus: I think Kit said she went to Alice’s old apartment where Carmen stays now.
Shane: Hunhh…figures.
Bette: Do I detect a note of jealousy, Ms. MacCutcheon?
Shane ignores the question, drinking her coffee instead. Bette wants to pursue the question further, but notices someone walking to their table.
Henry: Hi.
Angus: What’s up, man?
Henry: Good afternoon, Angus, Shane.
Shane nods. Henry then looks at Bette.
Henry: I’m sorry for interrupting, Bette but do you have a moment?
Bette: Something wrong?
Shane: Shit…I gotta get back to Wax. I’ll see ya.
Angus: Don’t worry, Shane I’ll make sure the coffee’s on the tab.
Shane: Cool. See ya.
Shane gets up from her seat and departs. Angus then stands.
Angus: I’m gonna go…somewhere.
Angus looks around and sees Kit busy behind the counter. He then looks around the rest of the Planet, wondering where to walk to so he’ll be out of the way. Bette notices this and raises Angelica.
Bette: You wanna play Angelica while me and Mr. Henry here talk?
Angus: Sure! Hey, Angelica you wanna go for a little walk?
Angelica laughs at Angus as he picks her up from Bette and walks away for the time being, leaving Bette and Henry alone. Henry takes a seat across from Bette where Shane was previously.
Bette: So to what do I owe the honor?
Henry: Bette, I just wanted to make sure that things were still cordial between you and Tina.
Bette: I suppose they are. Did Tina indicate otherwise?
Henry: She seemed really upset last night when she came home. I didn’t know if the two of you had gotten into an argument or if something had happened at Dana’s last night…
Bette: Henry…you seem like a really nice guy. But you’re going to have to talk to Tina about this.
Henry: That’s just it…she’s not saying anything. She’s usually more…open.
Bette: Pardon me for saying so, Henry but as someone who was with Tina for seven years, there’s very little that’s usual about her anymore.
Henry: For you, perhaps…but for me, not so much. Ever since I met her, we’ve been able to talk about everything. Last night, it was just the opposite. So I was just wondering if it might have been caused by something last night before she came home.
Bette: She’s got a lot on her mind right now. She’ll talk to you…just not right now…IF she’s upset about something. Or it could just be work related and she doesn’t wish to bother you with that.
Henry: She seemed okay after work yesterday. It wasn’t until last night that she was suddenly so upset.
Bette: I’m sure everything will be just fine.
Henry: I hope so.
In a few days, everyone will be leaving on a trip to Canada for a ski trip in an effort to get away for some fun on the slopes. For now, Alice and Dana’s fun consists of continuing to reconnect physically and emotionally once again. Their bodies roll around on top of one another in bed, picking up where they left off earlier in the morning. For Dana, it’s a mixture of love and therapy. For Alice, it’s an attempt to get the memory of Lara’s hurt out of her mind. Every touch and kiss is met with conflicting emotions.

alice can’t seriously have feeling beyond friendship for lara! come on! i mean lara’s rad in her own way, but… come on!!! hook lara up with carmen and be done with it! :) great update – looking forward to the next.
Awesome update i must say! lol apart from being a wierdo he seems to be a keen observer i liked it! alice and lara wow thats awesome and im glad shanez jealous lol or atleast i think she should be. i agree with Adelefiz im not sure about the couples anymore, i cant really say if carmen n lara wont be good together or dana and alice or alice and lara.. gosh! confuzzling! i would leave it all in your able hands!:)

poor lara but I have a feel that alice is happy but not as happy as she wants to be and I think that she has started to have some feelings for lara as well as lara may ahve for alice aswell please post soon can’t wait to see what will happen next great update I love it
Lara isn’t my favorite. I didn’t want her with Alice when Dana was dead on the show, so I definitely don’t want her on Alice’s mind when Dana is alive. lol If they all continued to live together more lines might have been blurred, but I think Alice just feels guilty because she knows what it feels like to be dumped by Dana. She understands the hurt Lara is feeling now, but I’m pretty sure she’ll learn to deal with it, and enjoy her time with Dana. If anyone is to blame for the confusion, it is Dana, but I suppose she gets a pass because of her illness.
Thanks for the props, man! OK, you’ve done it, you’ve actually made me like Max for more than 2.5 seconds AND made me seethe over my fave character on the show, Dana. Usually I find Max a terrible waste of time, but I like how you used him as an outside observer of the WTF-with-the-Lara-Dana-Alice-trio dynamic. Why do I want Lara and Alice to totally hook up on this trip to Canada and turn the tables on the dumpage? I dunno, but I’m excited to see how you’ll untangle this mess. And argh, Dana is still a wuss in my mind here, getting her cake and eating it too (so to speak) without bearing any fallout from those she’s hurting. OK, she’s been sick. This does mean something. But still, gaaah. I am on board with those who don’t like Lara and Carmen together, it’s not as dynamic as the thought of Alice and Lara mulling over what the nature of THEIR relationship is/could be (all while sneaking around behind Dana’s back? mwhahahaha), plus it would seem like an easy way out of this sticky situation. Bring on the drama and cool fancy words;) Obviously how you’re moving this story along is working, and you’ve stirring a lot of us up. Please post soon, updates rule! Thanks.
Oh, what a tangled web Max sees… I like Henry’s pre-emptive strike. He’s going down and he knows it. As for Our Alice, welp, she’s gotten what she wanted… hasn’t she? (duhn-de-duhn-dunh)
Henry has a lot of balls coming to Bette to ask about Tina. Is Carman in love with Lara? I’m going back tomorrow and read and get my mind clear on some of this. I might have missed something thanks for posting thanks

Did Henry think that he and Bette were gonna have a heart to heart? If my partner & I are having problems I’ll be damned if I go to the ex to get some kind of insight. I still can’t believe Tina blamed Bette for seeing her as some type of baby machine…in this story did Tina get pregnant without Bette knowing? If so how could Bette press her for a child she created behind her back. Instead of talking to Bette she picks a fight over someone else’s relationship. Tina needs some professional help to help her see where this anger really lies. That’s not saying she can’t be BI but I dont even think that’s the issue…it’s about payback to someone who has hurt you more than you thought you ever could be.
