Chapter 27
Tina drove slowly to Shane’s house feeling as though the weight of the world had been lifted off her shoulders she couldn’t help but smile.
Tina parked her car in Shane drive way grabbed her bag and made her way to the front door.
“Tina!” Shane yelled as she greeted her friend with a hug
“I’m so glad to see you again Shane”
“Come in here let me take your bag to the guest room”
Shane took the bag and put in the guest room she walked back to her living room where she saw, Tina sitting on her couch with a huge grin on her face”
“I was getting a little worried, everything ok?”
“Yeah, Shane for the first time in a long time I think everything is going to be ok”
Tina smiled
Shane gave Tina a sideways glance.
“What’s going on?”
“What do you mean?”
‘That smile”
‘I just saw Bette”
“What?” Shane asked
“Yeah, we talked some things out, and we agreed we’re going to try and be friends”
“Really? God Tina you don’t know how happy that makes me”
“I’m mad at you by the way”
“Me? What did I do?’
“Why, didn’t you ever tell me what Bette was going through?”
“I could have been here for her you know, despite everything we had gone through I would have been there for her.”
Shane looked down
“I’m sorry TK your right, we should have I should have, I…I just saw how devastated you were after everything that happened between you guys and well you were doing so good, I had already seen one friend in pain falling apart I couldn’t see another go through the same thing, you don’t know how many times I wanted to pick up the phone and beg you to come back to be with her to help her she would not listen to any of us the only one I knew could help her was you, I couldn’t bring myself to tell you.”
Tina ran her hands through her hair in frustration, not towards Shane towards herself, she felt guilty.

Shane is so sly, getting Tina to take Bette with her to furniture shop.
Ummmmmmm!!Well well well, let see, Bette choosing Tina’s furniture. After all it could be her house too if she plsys her game well lol. PPVS.

Well this puts the new friendship option to the test very quickly. Glad Shane had to bail on them and that Bette said yes to Tina. Hope it goes well for them and spend a little more time together and they can become a little more comfortable together. Great chapter. Thanks for posting. PPS
