Expedition of the Heart – Full Story
“If Francesca weren’t around, we’d all be banging…”
“Shhhh! I’m trying to hear what they’re saying,” Dana interrupted their banter as she leaned towards Marina and the dark haired woman that they all were curious about. Even Bette and Tina were quietly eavesdropping in on the conversation.
“Hello, I’m Marina. You must be new to the Planet,” she said in her sultry accent with a seductive smile.
The woman looked up from the paperwork she had been rummaging through and smiled back. “Now I can honestly say that that’s the first time anyone’s ever said that to me.” Azure blue eyes met Marina’s and they made the foreign woman suck in her breath at their brilliance. “I’m Cecilia,” she said lifting her hand to shake Marina’s. Her voice was silky smooth with a slight hint of an accent and was the kind of voice that could make women and men both melt if used in the right way. Marina let her fingers clasp the strong, yet soft, hand that had been offered to her.
“Welcome to my little coffee shop.” Marina pulled out the chair opposite Cecilia and sat down, placing her hands together in front of her on the table.
“Oh… are you the owner?” Cecilia asked closing her laptop and mimicking Marina’s hand placement.
“Yes… do you like it?”
“It’s very nice,” Cecelia said looking around. When her eyes swept the table of women, they all turned away and tried to look nonchalant. Dana even started to whistle as she looked anywhere but at the two women. “But you must not get new people in here very often.” Cecilia leaned in and whispered to Marina. “I feel like I’m on display.”
“Oh… they are harmless. They are all friends of mine and just want to know who the new person is.”
“Ahhh… I see,” Cecilia said smiling and waving at the six women. “Hello”, she said in their direction. Dana and Alice eagerly waved back as the others just smiled and returned to what they had been doing before she had grabbed their attention.
Marina laughed, “You’re not shy are you?”
“Life is too short for shyness,” was Cecilia’s answer as she sat back slightly, straightened her paperwork and then pushed it to the side. “I love your accent… it’s an unusual combination of Spanish, French, and a hint of the islands.”

Wow this story is longe and it took me 6 houses to read, the story is excellent and love it. Thanks for the awesome story and hope to see you soon, thanks!
What a great story and by the way, I loved the floor plan of the house! I have said this in the past and will restate it again here. I don’t know how many times I have started reading a fan fic story, really start getting into it and the writer just drops it. I go back day after day looking to she if the author has posted. Now I only read the consistant writers, those ladies that are committed to finishing what they start. I am glad that you fall into that catigory as obviously, you are very talented. Thank you for your contribution to our reading pleasure. I am looking forward to your future works. Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn’t be best if the stories that get posted were only of finished works. I know that I will get some flack for that statement but, would it not be better than having a bunch of unfinished work on this site? JMHO.Thank you again for a very will written story.
