“Who is this we you speak of?” Helena asked hesitantly fearing the answer.

“Oh, you know. The gang. I think even Tina might have wondered about you two at one point.”

“I don’t know what to say,” Helena said awkwardly.

“Just say it’s about bloody time,” Alice recommended.

    “I will not.”

“But I love it when you say it. It’s sounds so funny. Please? Please? Please?”

Helena ignored Alice’s pouting and turned on the television.

“I think they’re doing a season three Project Runway marathon on that queer channel,” Helena remarked as she flipped through the channels.

“Yes!” Alice cheered. “Jubilee Jumbles and Captain Save-A-Ho!”

They were deep into the marathon when there was a knock on the door.

“Door,” Helena mumbled stuffing Cheetos into her mouth.

“They’ll go away,” Alice said lazily.

    The knocking persisted.

“Dammit,” Alice swore getting up. “Just when we’re at the good part! I still say Keith was doing smack during all of this.”

“I’ll pause it,” Helena told her taking the opportunity to sprawl out on the couch.

“You know there’s this thing and it’s portable now. And you use this thing to call—oh—hey. Hi,” Alice said swinging the door opening angrily.

Alice grinned glancing over at the couch.

    “Hey,” Bette said.

“Hey, Helena your girlfriend’s here,” Alice yelled laughingly.

“Don’t let her in,” Helena yelled jumping to her feet and spilling Cheetos everywhere.

    “Alice…” Bette said warningly.

“Sorry,” Alice said through her laughter and shut the door in Bette’s face.

“How do I look? How do I look? Oh, God I think I’m going to be sick.”

Alice managed to look concerned while still laughing as she met Helena in the middle of the room.

“Stand still,” Alice ordered finally getting a hold on her mirth. She inspected Helena.

She wiped some crumbs off Helena’s chest and smoothed back Helena’s hair.

    “Teeth,” Alice said.

    Helena displayed her teeth.

“Okay. You look decent,” Alice said. “For your girlfriend.”

“Shut up,” Helena muttered moving towards the door.

“See if your girlfriend wants to join us. I don’t think your girlfriend’s ever seen Project Runway. Go ask your girlfriend.”

Helena took a quick breath before she slowly exhaled and opened the door.

Bette was leaning against the doorjamb a slight frown on her face.

    1. OMG! (Does best Nicole Richie impersonation) That IS so cute! You’re making them seem like teenagers! I can imagine them acting like that with each other. It’s a different, softer side to them, and it’s really really fitting and enjoyable to read! ;)

    2. I go away for a week, I come back and you’re posting again! I love these new random chapters you’re posting; Alice is so funny. Annoying for Helena, but funny for us. And look at Bette using her smooth talk – hot! pps!

    3. “Quick to the Batmobile! Helena’s telling a lie and only the lasso of truth will set her free!” >>> Hahahah! you made me laugh, and I was NOT expecting to laugh! Hehehe. Its all very cute indeed. I like it. You have a flair for making it adorable and sexy. Keep ’em coming, Speedy (ok THAT sounded better in MY head too)
