One week before Christmas: The Planet
Dana and Alice arrived together as usual but as the group of friends could see from their table, all was not well in paradise. The couple walked in silently, both with sombre expressions, Alice heading for the counter, Dana walking in the opposite direction towards the gang.
“Wow who died?” asked Tina half joking and half hoping she hadn’t put her foot in her mouth.
“No one” Dana simply stated sitting down rather sharply and ignoring the stares she was receiving from all directions.
“I don’t get it then” Jenny said aloud, saying what everyone was thinking.
“Get what?” answered the athlete a little to abruptly for her usual nature.
“Why your acting like someone broke in and pissed on your Christmas tree, what’s with you and Al?” Shane questioned.
“Christ Shane we’re not joined at the hip” Dana scoffed back earning a surprised expression from the lanky brunette and a questioning glance from Bette who was next to enquire.
“Dana you cannot greet us in this unexpected repulsive mood and think no one will ask questions, did you two have a fight?”
“I don’t want to talk about it”. It was obvious to everyone that Dana wanted the subject dropped, maybe Alice would crack easier, but probably not in front of Dana, they would have to be parted before any truth would be told.
Alice returned with a steaming latte and a simple orange juice for Dana. The brunette muttered a quick thanks and the blonde let a faint smile cross her lips. An awkward silence surrounded the group as the women sat there unsure if they should talk about the obvious or pretend like everything was normal. Leave it to Jenny to break the ice.
“Um so is everyone going to make it to Bette and Tina’s Christmas party tonight or what?”
“Yeah it should be a blast”, stated Shane whilst grabbing her keys and getting the hell out of the tense atmosphere whilst she could, “however, I got a client waiting sorry, see you guys tonight, be good til then” and with that she was gone, lighting a cigarette as soon as she sat in her truck.

Uh oh. I hope that Dana’s not gonna act like Alice did in S2. That would b bad! Hopefully they will get over it soon and make up :) Great update and cant wait for the next chap. PPS
Ouch, I feel really bad for Alice now. But at least she still has her sense of humor, lol. Well, hopefully Dana will listen to Alice so they can move past it and everything will go back to being peachy:) Anyway, thanks for this and looking forward to the next.Great Update!
Ooooooh, Jealous Dana makes an appearance…now you need to do me proud and throw in some smutty goodness while she’s being all pissy and possessive. Trust me, it’s fun! But seriously now…poor Alice. She didn’t even do anything, and personally I always thought Dana was a bit of a hypocrite when it came to jealousy in the first place. C’est la vie, I guess. Anywway, post soon so I know what the heck happens, k?
That was a really jealous Dana. Gabby did always kinda get under her skin. Was her reaction so over the top because she cannot stand Gabby or because ultimately she doesn’t trust Alice where Gabby is concerned?
