“Well it seems that our son is already starting to show how much he is like his Mommy… He is a bit impatient. Bette has been having contractions.. we both thought that they were braxon hicks, but apparently they were the real deal. She is dilated to 2 cm. The contractions are weak and Dr. Wilson thinks that rest and relaxation will stop it. So she has put Bette on bed rest.” The group all started at them in silence, no one sure what to say.
“Guys… everything is going to be just fine. If he were born today he would need a little help breathing at first, but he would be fine.” Bette added.
Kit was the first to speak up. “Baby girl.. you just worry about taking care of that nephew of mine. We will do everything we can to help…. Right girls?!?!?”
“Sure” “Of course” “Anything” The agreements came fast and furious. Everyone was on board and in it for the long haul.
“Tina don’t worry about work… I will take care of everything I can… there is nothing so pressing right now that it can’t wait!” Kate quickly offered.
“And I will take care of getting the kids too and from school and getting homework done.” Shane informed them. They were both a little shocked that Shane would be the one to make that offer.
“Shane are you sure?” Tina asked.
“Absolutely!” Bette and Tina looked at each other and smiled.
“Well alright then” Tina said.
“I will swing by in the afternoons and keep the house cleaned up for you, I’m sure you will have your hands full with Bette.” Dana offered.
“And I will come by in the mornings and sit with Bette, so Tina can run errands, or what ever it is you domesticated mom types do.” Alice chirped in true Alice fashion.
“And baby girls… don’t you worry about cookin.. your meals will be delivered either from the Planet or from my kitchen.”
“You guys are amazing all of you.” Bette said beside her self.
“Thank you so much!” Tina added.
“What about the nursery?” Kit asked knowing that it wasn’t ready.

Love that Tina can calm Bette and Gavin down. He will be Tina’s baby,he will want her all the time. Just like his Mom does.
