Tina almost felt herself saying “Me too,” but she just resolved to silencing her plea.

“Please, lead me to the door.” She turned to face Tina, Alice and Boo. It was nice to meet you, Tina.” She said. “Bye Angie…It’s good to see you”, she signed and Boo responded. “By everybody” Jodi waved with her hand before intertwining hers with Bette’s hand and proceeding to the front door.

Tina didn’t think it would be as hard as the moment before her proved to be. She couldn’t believe her eyes and her ears. Jodi closed the door behind them, pulling Bette outside. Now she could hear Jodi’s soft, but loud enough to hear, pleasured moan, in what seemed, their goodbye kiss.

Al, who was still besides Tina, could see, clearly the jealous that Tina’s heart was experiencing. She remembered that in German, jealousy is Eifersucht, which its meaning alludes to fire, to get burned. Eifer means burn e sucht is an old term used to describe a sickness estate. So jealousy is a sickness that burns deep inside and Tina was deadly sick at present moment.

It’s a question of time and phases. Alice continued thinking about the shock of jealous. The surprise at the first one second. The next two seconds… That’s when you can easily lose your mind.  That’s the moment you can flush immoderate. Your fists would wrist, your heart pounding,  sending unreasonable and disconnected messages to your brain. Other three seconds and you already are overwhelmed by the feeling of indignation. Of all kinds.  “How could she? What did I do to deserve?” Even if you are the responsible for what your eyes and ears are testifying, people like to act as if they’re the victim. And them, the other two seconds left to count ten, of pure agony, are full of emptiness, an absolute sense of abandonment. That’s when jealous become an image, a photography that is played and replayed at your mind. That’s when jealous become minutes, hours and what remains is pain. Pain that reach you full force.

Alice could read in Tina’s face: the surprise, the anger, the indignation, the despair, the pain. But Tina’s eyes didn’t tear.

The space between them was crossed from Tina’s hand searching for Alice’s arm. Support. She needed support, but, Alice sensed also, in the way she was holding her arm, a promise. Tina didn’t say a word, but her eyes told Alice all. “This feeling will not take too long. This will not stayed and take place. This sadness and loneliness will be to dislodge soon. She will be mine again.”

    1. Let it out Bette, and then hopefully Tina will stick to her guns and let you know that in spite of all that, and all her mistakes, she still loves you and wants to be with you.

    2. Tina started the conversation and now Bette has begun to continue the conversation. Both have so much to be forgiven for. They need to lay it all on the line or they will never get it back.

    3. this conversation is like a snowball rolling down a giant snow covered hill! Watch out below is all I can think cause when Bette gets on a roll, that girl gets on a roll! Can’t wait to read what really happens!! PPS

    4. Hey Babe! It seems the lovely brunette opened up and boy did she ever. She is on a roll sharing her inner feelings with Tina. That is the first step towards and form of understanding, peace, etc. is to let it all out. Great Job! MORE MORE MORE. ;-))
