“Dude, I didn’t even think twice about saying that,” stammered Shane.
“Shane, stop it, its fine, really. Come on now, go tell the driver to help with the bags, so we can get going,” said Lara, still reeling slightly from the word honeymoon.

Paige and Helena were at the club that would be hosting the soundtrack party, which was to be held later that evening. The screening was on Saturday, and the after party, to that, was at a bigger venue, the college. Everything was falling into place, as much as the planning had been quick; it had been close to flawless.
Rumours was a gleaming gem in the middle of nowhere, glass encased rooms, a huge stage, the best light and sound system, all of which was making Helena giddy. Life seemed to be good, almost too good to be true, but Helena wasn’t looking a gifted horse in the mouth, she was enjoying.
“I am in love,” said Helena, in a lofty voice.
“Glad to hear that,” giggled Paige, as she looked around with a careful eye. “Oh, you mean with the club,” teased the tall woman.
“If there is anything you need, just let us know,” said Emily, who was standing near the bar, talking with the owner of the club, Penelope. Penelope’s two children were running around, having fun, and making a racket, but Helena didn’t mind.
“Thank you, Emily,” said Helena. “I have to go over the lighting, the sound…” began Helena.
“I’ll do it,” said Quin, from the stage, dragging out another mic stand in her wake. Her hair was slightly longer now, shaggy, and streaks of pink adorned her bangs. Her eyes were free of any colored contact lenses and she looked stunning dressed in an old tee shirt, ragged jeans and sneakers that seemed older than Quin.
“Are you sure?” asked Helena. “All the artists are coming in for sound checks…”
“I can handle it,” smiled Quin, thinking it was the least she could do. “Go play.”
“I’m not going to refuse that offer, are you, Helena?” asked Paige, in a throaty seductive tone. Almost six inches taller than Helena, Paige stood behind her, peppering Helena’s neck with soft kisses.

How could you leave it with Tina and Bette just disappearing.I hope at least they went to bed together and not to sleep.
That was beautifully done now where have our girls scampered off to, hopefully to start taking that next chance and see where it takes them.
that was great I just hope that u have at least one or two more chapters for this as I feel that there is stll a bit more to write about if so please soon if not what a great story I have love every part of it thank you so much for writing it

well, well Janet…who would have figured you for such a soft, sweet romantic?? Loved the chapter, definitely worth the wait, as always!! Had to read it twice to fully savor your brilliance. The songs were perfectly woven through the story. Love is certainly in the air… looks like a mad dash to the alter for the lovely couples. Fun to see Ro back for Alice. Also loved the appearance of alpha Tina…so hot… but can’t believe you actually left off where you did! pout…Tease! Can’t wait for the next chapter. Have a good week.

Damn, Janet. That was really good. So much going on, and Spencer’s lyrics weaving in and out amongst it all. Shane and Lara are really just… I love em. They’re cute, they’re funny, they’re sexy… It’s a winner all round. And they’ve already moved into that old wise and married stage, and like, faster than a speeding bullet! …Al & Ro! They took way longer to break up than they did to make up, but marriage? The heart wants what it wants, and they’ve got it. Good on em, I say! Bette… I wish Kit was there to see her sister making it. Seems like B & T are meant to be… but we’ll see, shall we? I’m still waiting for that sackful of pennies to drop. The optimist in me sees everything working out, though.
