Collision Course 4.83
“Are you ready yet?” Lara called to Shane, who was in the bathroom, again. Shane had been peeing often, in the middle of the night, in the middle of dinner. Lara had told her, as long as it wasn’t in the middle of sex, she was cool.
“I’m coming!” called back Shane in her always throaty and sexy voice. The tone made Lara swoon sometimes, often wondering why Shane had never affected her like this before. More than likely it was because Lara had never seen Shane in the light that she was basking in now.
“If only it were that easy,” muttered Lara under her breath.
“If only what were easy?” asked Shay, his eyes narrowed, looking very much like Shane when he did.
Shay, Jarrod and Angelica were all going to be staying at Shane’s with Angus, who was babysitting the lot, while Lara and Shane went to Vermont. Angus was in the study, busy answering emails, allowing the women some private time before they left. Jarrod and Shay had been in the pool, but Shay had come out, wanting to say good-bye to Shane and Lara.
“Nothing my man, nothing at all,” smiled Lara, kissing Shay’s cheek and he blushed. “You’re going to be good, right?”
“No,” laughed Shay then seeing the quizzical look on Lara’s face. “Yeah, yeah.”
“Lara…,” lamented Shane.
Lara looked up to see Shane at the top of the staircase, “Yes.”
“I don’t fit in my favorite jeans. I mean, my jeans, dude, man…,” groaned Shane as she began to waddle down the staircase. “Look, look at my shirt? It won’t cover my belly anymore. Lara, Lara! This isn’t funny,” said Shane in a deadpan tone.
Lara held her stomach, sinking to the floor, and laughing so hard that she couldn’t stand any longer. “Babe, you’re pregnant, did you really expect to stay thin? You have two, not one, but two babies growing in there, they need room.”
“It’s all that great food you’re feeding me,” grumbled Shane. At six months pregnant, Shane was getting pretty rounded. “The only reason they need more room is because they never stop kicking,” groaned Shane.

How could you leave it with Tina and Bette just disappearing.I hope at least they went to bed together and not to sleep.
That was beautifully done now where have our girls scampered off to, hopefully to start taking that next chance and see where it takes them.
that was great I just hope that u have at least one or two more chapters for this as I feel that there is stll a bit more to write about if so please soon if not what a great story I have love every part of it thank you so much for writing it

well, well Janet…who would have figured you for such a soft, sweet romantic?? Loved the chapter, definitely worth the wait, as always!! Had to read it twice to fully savor your brilliance. The songs were perfectly woven through the story. Love is certainly in the air… looks like a mad dash to the alter for the lovely couples. Fun to see Ro back for Alice. Also loved the appearance of alpha Tina…so hot… but can’t believe you actually left off where you did! pout…Tease! Can’t wait for the next chapter. Have a good week.

Damn, Janet. That was really good. So much going on, and Spencer’s lyrics weaving in and out amongst it all. Shane and Lara are really just… I love em. They’re cute, they’re funny, they’re sexy… It’s a winner all round. And they’ve already moved into that old wise and married stage, and like, faster than a speeding bullet! …Al & Ro! They took way longer to break up than they did to make up, but marriage? The heart wants what it wants, and they’ve got it. Good on em, I say! Bette… I wish Kit was there to see her sister making it. Seems like B & T are meant to be… but we’ll see, shall we? I’m still waiting for that sackful of pennies to drop. The optimist in me sees everything working out, though.
