Dana slowly opened her eyes. As soon as she opened her eyes she took a look at the area around her. Instead of being in a grave yard surrounded by numerous tombs and a large bird staring down at her, she was surrounded by a familiar place. It was the Planet. Loud party music was playing and masses of bodies were dancing around her. Everyone seemed happy and jovial as people were dancing and socializing.

“This has happened before” Dana whispered to no one in particular. Indeed it did happen before. This was not an ordinary party. This was gay pride weekend and The Planet was celebrating the annual gay pride party. She smiled to her self as that day came back to her. It was the day her brother came out to her, but most importantly it was the day she declared her love for Alice.

“Hey there you are!” She heard a familiar voice coming from behind her. When she turned around, there was Alice. Standing right there, Very much alive and well. She had a Cosmo in her hand and rainbow ribbons in her hair. Her outfit matched the colorful rainbow that gay pride represented.

“What are you doing all by your self?” Alice asked. She took a sip of her cosmo as she snuggled up close to Dana.

“I was looking for you sweet heart.” Dana embraced her blonde girlfriend and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. “You look so cute” Dana said as she ran her finger through the colorful ribbons in Alice’s hair. Alice giggles as the song changed.

“Oh my god. I love this song. Come on Dana. Let’s dance!” Alice yelled over the loud voices.

Before Dana knew it she and Alice were in the middle of the dance floor grinding and dancing close to each other. The happy sensation flooded over Dana as she laughed and giggled with her lover. She stared deep into Alice’s blue eyes as she gently placed her hands on her hips.

“What? What is it?” Alice asked. A goofy grin was plastered on her face. Dana moved in close to Alice’s ear.

“I love you.” Dana whispered. She leaned her head against Alice’s. Alice’s eyes started to fill with tears of joy after hearing the words that she longed to hear from Dana. She smiled and wrapped her arms around the tennis player.
