City Of Angels Chapter 2: Dana’s Resurection

    “Give me your hand ‘officer’.”

Reluctantly George raises his hand to Victor. He grabbed the police officer’s wrists tightly in his own hands then swiftly cut off his pinkie finger with the small dagger held in his other hand.

“Fuck! My finger!” George cursed out loudly as he holds onto his mutilated hand. Blood begins to squirt out like a water fountain.

“Was…your finger. Now it’s mine.” Victor laughed as the blood kept pouring. George tried to desperately to stop the bleeding but every time he failed to do so.

“Do we need to continue this conversation? Officer Peterson?”

The bleeding cop shook his head as his skin began to turn pale. Victor just smiled as he held up the twitching pinkie finger in his hand.

“It’s a pleasure doing business with you.”

George slowly gets out of his seat as he stumbles over to the door on his right. While he exit’s Victor’s office, Victor just kept on smiling like a Cheshire cat. He throws the finger into the trash bin next to his desk as he sits back down.

Camilla just stared at her reflection in the large mirror in her bed room wearing only a pair of bra and panties. She looked over the tribal tattoos that were placed in various parts of her body. They all shared the same similar design. Her back and upper arms were decorated with a graceful pair of runic bird wings that went over her spine and shoulder blades. Below her pierced navel was the tattoo of the crow that visited her in her dreams.

For an entire year she thought of nothing but the crow. Her recent art work even reflected her obsession with this dream. She looked down at the crow like tattoo below her navel and touched it gently with her fingers.

Normal people would shrug off a dream like that and come to the conclusion that it was all coincidental, but not her. With back ground in the occult and superstitious beliefs in her family, she knew that it was something important. Her grand mother always taught told her that animals were the key to this world. They were the ones that carried the spirits of the dead.
