Chapter XXV – Love Soul Heaven Hell

Bette nodded, then urged Diane, “Focus, Diane. Marissa and I have an arrangement concerning the art, and she will know what to do, ok?” Bette paused briefly to eye Diane, who nodded, as if to say, Keep going. I’m alright.
“I don’t have to say that if anything happens to me and Tina, you both will have to keep an eye on Angelica until things get sorted out and she goes to Kit, alright?” Bette asked, turning to Jules also.
“Alright,” Diane nodded. “We’ll watch her like our very own, Bette,” Jules added.
“But…” Diane started to ask. Bette shook her head, “No, Diane. There’s no time. Everything you’ll need to know about what to do will be in the safe. If something happens to either of us, as soon as you can, call the estate lawyer. He has the same files also.”
She paused as Diane gave her a quick, tight hug. “Please just go to our place now, because Christy is really anxious, and I want to make sure everything’s in place for Angelica, ok?,” Bette asked softly, and gently pushed Diane towards the staircase. “I won’t be able to focus on what I have to do if that won’t be the case…”
Diane blew a breath out and fixed a small smile on her face, and told Bette, “Don’t worry. You can count on me. On us.”
Bette returned her smile, and answered, “I know I can.”
As Diane headed towards the staircase, Bette called out to her, suddenly remembering something, and said, “Wait, Diane. There’ll be one guy from Brom’s security team who will be in a car parked in front of the duplex. Brom has already given him instructions that when someone comes, and this means you, who Christy will let in, then he’s to follow you inside, and lock up the duplex behind him. I’ll ask Brom to tell him that it will be you coming. But no one’s to leave after everything’s locked, ok? There’s enough food and stuff inside, so don’t worry.”
“Trust me, Bette,” Diane said simply, and gave the brunette a reassuring smile.
“I do, Diane,” Bette responded, and gave her an air kiss, before Diane turned to leave.
As Diane left, Bette turned to head back into the camera room, with Jules on her heels.

OMG!!!! Bette has got to make all the right decisions here. Is the mystery man the Frenchman that stayed with Bette?. He has always been close to Bette so he knows all everything about her story. He is in her inner circle . Superwoman Porter with her sidekick Jules will succeed. they have, too. What a great turn, Sky. You were worried about making this story real. Well, my friend the answer is YES! You have not disappointed.
So good, that guy sounds like a creep. Hope you post soon. Want to see how Bette gets out of this.

It is great that Bette and Tina have such loyal friends. They are the kind of people that instil such loyalty. The tension is gripping. I can’t wait to see Bette outsmarting the bad guy and saving her Tina. You rock!
Wow this is so James Bond-ish. I LOVE it. Please keep Bette & Tina safe. I figured Tina’s stepfather wasn’t coming around to her lifestyle for nothing. He trying to save himself. Can’t wait to read more.
So, Brom’s a Captain America type? I can only hope Jules may be able to help save the day with the same panache as Black Widow.
Bette’s going to need all the help she can get to keep everyone safe.
And Tina’s stepfather… if he’s doing something he shouldn’t, then he should face the consequences.
