    Tina gestures with her head towards the hallway.

    (Tina) I’m sorry about our entrance, I wasn’t thinking, bringing you here to have this conversation

    Tina looks around the room.

    (Tina) Obviously there’s evidence of Angie everywhere

    Bette looks over at her and smiles.

    (Bette) Angie?

    Tina meets her eyes and smiles back at her.

    (Tina) Yes, we call her Angie

    They smile at each other.

    (Tina) Anyway, this is probably enough for you for now. I really don’t want to overload you

    Bette nods.

    (Bette) OK

    They sit in silence for a moment.

    (Tina) How are you feeling? Do you need to lie down or anything? They said to rest as much as you can

    (Bette) I’m feeling OK actually. I might have a shower though, it’s been a day

    Tina nods and Bette goes to stand.

    (Tina) Do you mind if I have a look in the kitchen and see what you have while you’re doing that? I could fix us something for dinner?

    Bette stops and looks at her for a moment.

    (Bette) I have to remind myself that you don’t live here

    Bette settles back onto the couch and looks at her.

    (Bette) How long has it been since you did?

    Tina takes a breath.

    (Tina) Many years

    (Bette) How many?

    Tina holds her gaze for a moment.

    (Tina) More than ten

    Bette raises her eyebrows. She then looks away and takes in the room again.

    (Bette) Well I haven’t lived here in fifteen apparently, so if anything is different it’s new to me too

    Tina smiles and shakes her head.

    (Tina) I guess you’re right

    Bette looks back to her.

    (Bette) Is it weird for you being here?

    Tina looks around and sighs.

    (Tina) Yes, it is. I pick up Angie all the time but I don’t usually spend any time here

    Bette nods and Tina continues to look around.

    (Tina) Maybe we should have stayed at my house. I feel like we’re invading your privacy being here

    1. Hummm…. so the confusion has begun…. Bette has a child whom she does not know, a sister whose relationship has made a 180 degree turn in 15 years and all she can think about is Tina. And she is already scheming to keep Tina around. Let see where this goes….

    5. Hey ! Thanks a lot for sharing this new chapter. I’m really looking forward to next chapter. Well, I still think what Bette is doing here is highly unfair to Tina and her current life and relationship ( I mean, let’s be honest, that looks a lot like a trap she wants her to fall in ), especially since Bette obviously loves her very much, so that still troubles be a little, but I definitely want to see where this is going. Thanks a lot !!
