Chapter 25
The Planet was nearly filled to it’s capacity and Kit had to refrain from joining the most interesting table. It irked her to no end, but business came first.
Marina had watched the interaction between Jenny and Max and couldn’t for the life of her decipher, why Jenny would prefer him over her.
Out of her eye she suddenly noticed some newcomers.
Jenny jumped up and threw herself at them.
“Wow, Jen, you’re sure glad to see me.” Shane laughed. “You okay, girl ?” She whispered into Jenny’s ear.
“Shane, what a surprise !” She was sooo glad. “Yes, everything is fine.” She murmured back.
Dr. Sullivan graced her with a smile, a half armed hug and Max got a firm handshake. “Max, hello again.”
“April, good to have you join us.” He smirked and blinked at her.
“If I had known you would be here, I would’ve moved my butt sooner.” April flirted with him.
Shane and Jenny watched with matching grins and Marina felt left out. Suddenly she knew why Jenny had chosen the Planet as their meeting place and she was disappointed. Even more than about the talk they had a few minutes ago. For her it was clear now, that there never was a real chance for reconciliation and now she had a hard time not to cry. But this humiliation she wouldn’t let them watch.
So she pulled herself together and smiled. This behavior had protected her many times in her life. She felt like a clown… laughing on the outside and while crying inwardly.
Kit had watched Marina from a nearby table where she had personally delivered the drinks. At seeing Marina tense and then smile something inside her reached out. Never would she have guessed the day would come, when Kit Porter felt pity for Marina Ferrer.
She took the steps into the direction of the family table and her hand grasped Marina’s shoulder. Who looked up with wonder in her eyes at this gesture. A quick look was exchanged, understanding and accepting, then it was over.
“Hey, Ms. Kit !” Max greeted her. “How’s Junior doing ?” And tried to steer the topic to safer grounds since he was well aware what had happened between them.

Okay its better than better. Love Blue aka Mr Porter. If Bette is happy with Helena then so shall I be. The gang is so full of life. Shane is cute with April. Marina will do her best to win her love back. Blue is so cute watch his mistress sleep and dreaning of a gift for. I’m a cat lover. I really really love the story.Never doubt that. thanks

I love that you’re bringing Marina back into the fold. She’s such an interesting character with much potential, not to mention that I like Jenny a lot better with Marina.
Hey Kijuma- Boy, does that Blue have a great life or what? Is it wrong that I’m jealous of a cat??? Anyway, you definitely didn’t disappoint w/ this chapter. PPS! And Blue lying on Bette’s tummy being stroked is just the cutest scene ever.
Hey Kijuma…another excellent post dear as always. I am sorry you are sick…I have worked really hard now I get some time off so I can spend some quality time with Susannah and maybe we will invite the neighbors over for a BBQ or maybe they will have one and invite us. Please post again real soon.

Good chapter. Lol B&H, they are cute and sweet and funny, love them. Blue is smart and cute, and I think maybe I will have a cat some day lol and hope the cat is smart like Blue. Ok now whats happen to Alice. Anyway Im glad to catch up with your story and love it, can’t wait to see more, thanks!!
Kijuma, You know I love ya!! I love this story too,with interaction with Bette and Helena and Mr Porter. You do capture his feelings quite well!! Of course I help pay for the house so sky doesn’t have to work so hard…then maybe I would get to see her more too…Sky….

You have a way with words and it’s not even you own language, I’m in awe. Bette and Helena are good together you are portraying them just the way I would like to see them. Women who know were they stand for but not overly Alpha. I just looooove Blue, you’re description of him is so vivid…I can almost hear him snore.But who the f*ck is with Alice?
