‘Maybe you’re right.’ Alice said, but before she could continue there was a voice in her background. “Hey, Pieszecki, get your ass off the phone. We have to talk to Bette again !”
“Who was that ?” Tina couldn’t stop herself.
‘Just Shane. Look, I have to go now. Maybe we can meet some time for lunch or something ?’ Alice asked.
“How about Sunday ?” Tina now was sure there were things going on, that she had to know about. And if that meant to let Bette have time with her daughter out of schedule, she would bite the bullet.
‘Sunday ? As in the day after tomorrow ?’ Came the astonished question.
“Yes, that Sunday. Let’s meet at the Planet at say.. noon ?”
‘Okay, I’ll be there. Bye for now, Tina. And give my earth daughter a kiss, will you ?’
“Yes, Alice. Bye. See you Sunday.” And Tina ended the call… none the wiser.
* * *
“Hey, baby-sis, everything okay ?” Kit stood next to her with a concerned face.
“Yes, Kit, everything is fine. I just spoke to Angie.” Bette was excited and her face told Kit that much.
“The kid called you. My, she’s a clever one, isn’t she ?” Kit laughed.
“Goofball, Tina called and handed the phone over.”
“Tina called ? What did she want ?” Came Helena’s voice from the doorway. She took a step in Bette’s direction.
“I don’t have the slightest idea why she called or let me talk to my daughter, but I don’t care. She did and that’s what counts. I asked her if I could have Angie on Sunday, by the way.” Prompted Bette now.
“And what did she have to say ‘bout that ?” Asked Kit.
“She’ll consider it. Some evasiveness about schedule-checking and such. But let’s take it positive. She didn’t say no.” Bette was happy.
Helena closed the distance to her lover, took her right hand and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Darling, that’s great news. Maybe we can take her to the beach and…”
Kit smiled at the picture her sister and Helena made. A happy couple and she was glad to see Bette had found love again. After the last two shitty years, she wished all the best for her sister. And it sure looked like she found it… and nonetheless with Helena Peabody.
“Bette, I came in to say I have to go now. Have a nice evening, you two and maybe stop by for breakfast tomorrow ?” Kit told them.
“I don’t know, Kit. Technically we’re still booked at the hotel and breakfast is included. But I have to see what to do with Blue and… By the way where is he, Love ?” She asked Helena.
“Last I saw him, he was sleeping on the deck chair. I think the whole day finally wore him down.” Helena smiled.
“Ah, okay. So, Kit, you see, I… we have a full plate today and tomorrow.” Bette grinned. “And I have to call Blue’s breeder, Shane wants to talk and I promised this beautiful lady here a wonderful night of passion !”
Helena blushed and Kit laughed at her. “I see. Looks like I have to make an appointment to talk to you.”
Bette smiled at her girlfriend and looked at her sister. “I wouldn’t go that far, but you’ll never know.”
She hugged her sister and stage-whispered, “I’m just horny !”
Kit bellowed and Helena’s blush deepened even more. She swatted Bette’s behind and then went to give Kit a hug too.
Kit took Helena’s face in both hands and looked deep into her eyes. “Thank you for making my sister happy again !”
And with that she kissed her.

My beautiful cat is so spoilded. Like I said before you dont own a cat, they own you/ On my front gate I have a sign that says “BEWARE ATTACKED CAT” Love that Tina was kind enough to let Angie talk to Bette. Tina is going to have a fighting,biting fit when she finds out about Bette and Helena. Drama,she had more that enough chances . thanks

tina doesn’t want Bette and doesn’t want her to be happy with anyone else either, and she is so going to have a fighting biting fit when she finds out about Bette and Helena..to which I say they ought to let Blue attack her!!

lol…ladies..ladies…there just might be enough of me to go around…lol…but Belena in all fairness Susannah and I purchased the house next door to Bette & Helena…and we are getting a puppy since Kijuma dosen’t seem like she will be adding one…she has her cat/dog or as they call them catogs…lol. And Kijuma am I the “one who’ll not be named?” My feelings are slightly bruised. I have been a loyal reader of yours and I should get more love than this…humph. Tina dosen’t deserve or is intitled to any answers from anyone she is so out of the loop it ain’t funny. I am mad that the only reason why she will let Bette have Angelica is because she wants to be all Angela Lansbury (the Murder She Wrote detective) More please.
Good chapter. The gang are funny and love them. Good to see that Tina is kind to let Angel talk to Bette. When Tina find out about B&H and about the houses, she gonna bring trouble or drama to Bette. Ok please post soon, thanks!
ah sky you kill me..lmao…i am glad you remember where you live, there! I was wondering wherefore were thou!! Now you don’t know Helena’s not going to get a dog…or a catog..that must be a new breed!!! When people come to the door will it beow? Tina can play Jessica all she wants but she isn’t gonna like what she finds out…and shame on her for using the baby to do it.
Hey Susannah…yes dear I remember where I live…lol. Yeah something tells me Tina will NOT like what she discovers…sigh. I just wonder what her state of mind will be. Well we have to get working on a pie to take over to the new neighbors…I suggest apple.

Blue reminds me of my cats who both act more like dogs. So does Bette want to introduce Angie to Blue? Is that why she asked Tina to ahve her on Sunday? Everything seems to be coming together smoothly…..Bette and Helena are happy, Shane, Alice and Jenny are buying Bette’s house……so that just leaves Tina as the big question mark in the mix. How will Tina react when all of this news comes out in the open? I see Ms. Kennard not being happy and starting some drama for Bette and the girls. Post soon!
