Bette was disappointed, but not wanting to Tina hear that, she said in an even tone, “That’s okay. It’s an alien concept for her to talk to someone she can’t see, I guess.”
‘You know, she was very excited to talk to you, Bette. She loves you.’ Tina answered.
Bette was astonished at hearing that. “You know I love her too. Would you give her a kiss from me ?”
‘Ahem.. sure.’ Tina wasn’t ready to go any further. ‘It was nice talking to you, Bette.’
“Yeah… same here, Tina.” And then she thought about how odd this conversation was. Nevertheless she asked, “I know it’s not my weekend with her, but would it be possible to have her on Sunday for a few hours ?”
‘I don’t know, Bette. What do you have in mind ?’ Tina asked timidly.
“I have something I want to show her, Tina. It’s nothing bad.” Bette answered quietly.
‘I can’t make a promise, Bette, but I’ll see to my schedule. Can I call you back ?’ Tina wasn’t to give in easily.
“Sure, thanks for at least considering it, Tina. Call me any time, but better use the cell, okay ?” Bette’s smile came clearly over.
‘Okay. I’ll call. Bye.’
“Bye, Tina.” Bette ended the call and suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder.

After Tina had put the phone down, she looked at her daughter. Not that Angie was the spitting image of Bette, but the resemblance was sure there.
Angelica looked back at her mother. “Wuv mommy.” And held her hands out to be picked up.
“I love you too, baby. Want to play blocks with mommy ?”
At that the child shrieked with glee. Just as both had settled on the playground on the floor, the phone rang.
“Hello ?” Tina just said while having an eye on Angie.
‘Tina ? It’s Alice.’
“Hey, Alice, I was thinking about you.” Tina lied.
‘That’s mighty nice of you. You tried to reach me earlier ?’ Alice asked.
“Yes, nothing important though.” Tina was too curious to ask, but her tone made it clear.

My beautiful cat is so spoilded. Like I said before you dont own a cat, they own you/ On my front gate I have a sign that says “BEWARE ATTACKED CAT” Love that Tina was kind enough to let Angie talk to Bette. Tina is going to have a fighting,biting fit when she finds out about Bette and Helena. Drama,she had more that enough chances . thanks

tina doesn’t want Bette and doesn’t want her to be happy with anyone else either, and she is so going to have a fighting biting fit when she finds out about Bette and Helena..to which I say they ought to let Blue attack her!!

lol…ladies..ladies…there just might be enough of me to go around…lol…but Belena in all fairness Susannah and I purchased the house next door to Bette & Helena…and we are getting a puppy since Kijuma dosen’t seem like she will be adding one…she has her cat/dog or as they call them catogs…lol. And Kijuma am I the “one who’ll not be named?” My feelings are slightly bruised. I have been a loyal reader of yours and I should get more love than this…humph. Tina dosen’t deserve or is intitled to any answers from anyone she is so out of the loop it ain’t funny. I am mad that the only reason why she will let Bette have Angelica is because she wants to be all Angela Lansbury (the Murder She Wrote detective) More please.
Good chapter. The gang are funny and love them. Good to see that Tina is kind to let Angel talk to Bette. When Tina find out about B&H and about the houses, she gonna bring trouble or drama to Bette. Ok please post soon, thanks!
ah sky you kill me..lmao…i am glad you remember where you live, there! I was wondering wherefore were thou!! Now you don’t know Helena’s not going to get a dog…or a catog..that must be a new breed!!! When people come to the door will it beow? Tina can play Jessica all she wants but she isn’t gonna like what she finds out…and shame on her for using the baby to do it.
Hey Susannah…yes dear I remember where I live…lol. Yeah something tells me Tina will NOT like what she discovers…sigh. I just wonder what her state of mind will be. Well we have to get working on a pie to take over to the new neighbors…I suggest apple.

Blue reminds me of my cats who both act more like dogs. So does Bette want to introduce Angie to Blue? Is that why she asked Tina to ahve her on Sunday? Everything seems to be coming together smoothly…..Bette and Helena are happy, Shane, Alice and Jenny are buying Bette’s house……so that just leaves Tina as the big question mark in the mix. How will Tina react when all of this news comes out in the open? I see Ms. Kennard not being happy and starting some drama for Bette and the girls. Post soon!
hey sky did I ever tell you I think you’re pretty sexy in an apron??? I had to read your post twice cos I thought you said we should bring Tina a pie and I would NOT want to leave wearing said pie!!
