Chapter 11
They held each other lightly.
“That was not how I envisioned our first kiss.” Helena confessed.
Their eyes met and Bette gave her another peck on the lips. ”Me neither.”
Both of them were grinning now, but as often, great minds think alike, so their heads bent again and another liplock followed.
Much gentler this time, but nonetheless as deep as the first. Bette nibbled on Helena’s lower lip and demanded entrance. Which was naturally granted and their tongues curled and seriously examined the others mouth.
They were acutely aware of their combined body heat and after long minutes breathing became an issue. Both struggled to gain the much needed air.
“As much as I love kissing you, this environment is not doing it for me.” Helena finally said.
“You’re right, let’s leave and talk. But, Lena…” She stopped herself.
Helena, loving the shortening of her name, but only because it came from Bette, asked, “What is it, Darling ?”
Bette smiled happily at the endearment. “There are two more things you need to know. I’m going to sell my house and hopefully will move into a house at the beach. I made a bid on the one next to your old house and tomorrow I’m meeting the realtor.”
“Wow, that’s… Bette, I don’t know what to say to that. And what’s second.”
“I forgot.” And Bette kissed her again.
After another heated kiss, Helena’s knees felt like jelly. “Darling, let’s go… Now!”
“Yes ! But give me a few more minutes with the pack… because if I don’t tell them now, they’ll break the door down later.”
“Okay. But please, keep it brief.” Helena’s voice promised to deliver and Bette shuddered.
She took Helena’s hand and they left the rest room.

If looks could kill, the world would be short on one Alice Pieszecki. That was what Kit’s eyes told her.
“Alice, you don’t seriously mean…” Kit stammered.
“I mean nothing, Ms. Kit Nosy-Porter.” Alice replied icily.
Jenny watched them and inside laughed her butt off. Out loud she said, “And even if what we are suspecting is true, good for them ! I think they could be great together.”

You know, I did wonder where Tina was. Not anymore.That´s the funniest answer ever. Great story-
Mette help don’t hinder…lol. So Tina is still with Henry & Mikey? Is there an Angelica in this story? If so, is she keeping her away from Bette? If she is being like that then I will have no choice but to not give you a hard time about Bette moving on. I am sure Bette’s “cat” and Helena’s little puppy will get along swimmingly.
Sky, not sure about the meaning of the quotation marks around cat…I have it on good authority that Blue is indeed a cat…But helena is going to have a puppy, and maybe if you are VERY nice, kijuma will let you help name it!! What I don’t get is WTF is up with Kit? Since when is she Bette’s mother and since when does Bette need to get permission from her to do anything?? The “we need to talk” and running off crying didn’t make sense to me.. I am SO pleased that Bette and Helena are getting together. *doing happy dance*
I didn’t mean anything about the “cat” thing just me still being bitter. I think this is Kit looking out for her babysis…I mean she has seen Helena in action and even though she hired Helena at the Planet dosen’t mean she is trusting her with her sister’s heart. Yes Bette is a grown woman but to Kit she will always be her babysis. That’s where I think Kit is coming from and the fact that she is pregnant. Yeah yeah yeah I see your “happy dance” looks more like you’re calling for rain…lol
Hey sky, that is the bad thing about fic, as you mentioned earlier, we don’t know what is going on with this or that character, is Tina keeping the baby from Bette, was Helena evil and now all of a sudden nice, and therefore giving Kit cause to worry about her baby sister. I love that Kit calls Bette babysis even though she is 40 something, and I like how she does look out for her in her own way. How old is Bette??? At any rate, as I live in Northwestern Oregon, there is NO NEED to call for rain, it is always already here!!! Cheer up sky, only one more week and Jodie will be here!!!! HUGZ
This story has everything I could hope for.The humor from Alice and Jenny is great,as well as Kit’s need to protect her baby sister.And as usual Shane stepping in when needed.Yes I’m loving it.

Why does she have to exlain herself about her realtionship and about her buying a house??? I a Tina and Bette lover You are not by your lonesome. If Tina is with Mickey and her boytoy. then Bette needs someone Helena is better than Jenny.OMG did I just write that. Let them have her fun and if it turns in to something.then Tina comes up the loser and Helena the winner thanks
