    In WeHo Once Again

     

    Tina:  Umm… these guys are taking me home Helena.  

     

    Alice:  Are you coming with us T?

     

    I looked at Bette who still had Mel’s arm around her.  Does that mean I’d be going home with them in the car?  Why didn’t she tell me she’s with someone?  What is the deal here? 

     

    Tina:  It’s ok guys I’ll go with Helena.  I will meet you guys soon.

     

    Alice:  (mumbling) whatever

     

    I shot her a look. 

     

    Alice:  Yeah see you later T.  Come on guys.

     

    Shane:  Ok let me just pay for the parking ticket.

     

    Tina:  It was nice seeing you Bette, Melanie.

     

    Mel:  You too Tina.

     

    Bette:  Likewise Tina.

     

    I smiled and left. 

     

    As I walked toward Helena‘s Aston Martin I caught a glimpse of Bette from the corner of my eye.  She was staring at me while Mel was talking to Alice.  She wasn’t speaking.  And then I saw Mel turning her attention to Bette and realising she wasn’t paying any attention to whatever they were talking about, turned her gaze to me.  I quickly got in the car, pulled the seatbelt and buckled up!  God!

     

    Helena:  Are you ok Tina?

     

    Tina:  Yeah I’m good.  I didn’t think you’d pick me up from the airport

     

    Helena:  I wasn’t going to but I was hungry so I thought I’d take you out for early lunch.  So where would you like to go?

     

    Tina:  I’m not bothered really.  Wherever you want

     

    Helena:  Well, ok then.

     

    Helena took us to posh Chinese restaurant.  And ordered us the top of the range Chinese cuisine.

     

    Helena:  You don’t mind me ordering for you Tina?

     

    Tina:  No I don’t really.  It’s fine with mereally.

     

    Helena:  Oh ok good. I’m sure you’ll love the fine selection.

     

    The food came and they looked delicious.  But I wasn’t in the mood to eat.  I mean who would be when dreams they had for years vanish in front of their eyes in a split second?  Ok Tina, you knew beforehand Bette has a girlfriend now.  You knew that even before you came here she has a girlfriend.  But still you chase her?  But I love her.  I STILL love her!  What am I going to do?  *****.  What did you expect?  See her and she’d fall for you all over again?  Is that how it played in your head?  Get a grip on reality Tina.  I sighed.  I knew she had Mel, I shouldn’t have thought about it that way.  But does she love her really?  Really, really love her?
