After the buffet feast of room service, Bette and Tina were sitting at the table completely full from all that they consumed.
Tina said “Babe, I need to hit the gym to counteract all the carbs I just ate!”
Bette said “Tina, no you don’t. In fact, you look too thin, like you have lost weight and I am worried about you”.
Tina said “Don’t be silly Bette, I have not lost weight and you do not need to be worrying about me. All you should be concentrating on is your own recovery. So instead of going to the gym do you want to go for a walk outside?”
Bette said “Where you want to go? We don’t really know our way around here at all…”
Tina said “Let me go look up on my laptop if there is something nice like a park close by and I can stroll you in your wheelchair and we can walk and sit the sun. It looks like a beautiful day outside”.
Tina went over to her make shift work set up and browsed around on the internet until she was satisfied that she had come up with a close by park location that the two could stroll to. Once she wrote down directions she helped get them both ready to spend some time outside. They left the room together and headed for the elevator and got in. The elevator reached its destination at the lobby level and Tina pushed Bette out. Bette felt uneasy being out of the hotel room and in the back of her mind was waiting for Jodie to pop up and greet her, but they left the hotel uneventfully and began to stroll down the side walk. Bette visibly eased her body and shifted in the wheel chair.
Tina stopped for a second as she noticed the difference in Bette’s posture and said “Is everything ok babe?”
Bette exhaled deeply and said “Yes, I am just relieved that we didn’t run into Jodie, that is all. I am fine now”.
Tina scowled to herself, but she was behind Bette pushing, so luckily Bette didn’t notice.
Even though Bette could not physically see Tina, she could sense the energy between them had changed and she said “Tina I am sorry for bringing up Jodie”.

Poor Tina….even if it turns out to be nothing she did the right thing. She can’t take any chances. Bette could have some kind of infection or something else that would slow down her healing process. I hope Bette doesn’t give her too much grief over this.

now that would be something if bette was pregnant,,, tina would surely kill jody.. maybe thats a good thing… lol.. and bette take a chill pill… tina did the right thing… you should be thanking her and telling your sorry for again throwing up all over her… pps
Great update. Bette needs to stop being grumpy britches because Tina is doing the best she can with an unruly patient. Tina did the right thing to call the ambulance because this is the second time that Bette has gotten sick for no apparent reason. Lulabelle, I cant believe that jodi has tried to get Bette pregnant, jodi hates children and hates being tied down. She wants to be a free spirit and go from one woman to another, she doesn’t even want to be monogamous with Bette but she damned sure doesn’t want Bette with Tina either. We know that much but I don’t think it’s pregnancy that is causing Bette to upchuck for no reason. I think it might be her being everly anxious and nervous about being out and about and not being able to control the situation if jodi does show up. She really has not adjusted to leaving jodi even though she does not want to be with her and she feels guilty about the way it happened. I think also that she is afraid if jodi comes back around her again she will not be able to say no to jodi without Tina being there or that jodi will do something to Tina and Bette would not be able to stop it. In short, she feels unprotected and guilty as hell for hurting jodi. I could be wrong but I don’t think so. Hopefully she does not have some other illness that they don’t know about. Great chapter. Bette is no happy patient but hey she has been thru hell so she is ok to be grumpy just as Tina is ok to want to protect and take care of her at all cost.Now lulabelle30 that would be interesting and I hadn’t thought of that but now that you have mention it wouldn’t put it past JoJO
