Tina said “Do you feel better my baby?”
Bette said “Yeah, I do. I just hate for you to see my like this. I feel really guilty that we had just decided to give our relationship another try and take things slowly to make sure it is right and now here you are, displaced and taking care of my very basic needs….uh, in a towel… Oh my god Tina, you must be cold, I am so selfish. I am sorry. Go and get dressed…”
Bette could not believe that she didn’t notice that Tina had not even had a chance to take care of herself. She had obviously taken a shower, but had not had a chance to get dressed or even rinse the toothpaste out of her mouth. She dropped everything for Bette.
Tina interrupted her thoughts by saying “Bette, please try to stop worrying about me taking care of you. Circumstances brought us here. I want to be here taking care of you Bette. There is no way I could be in LA, working or doing anything else knowing you were here. Besides, we are lesbians, we are supposed to move too fast, right?”
Tina winked at Bette. And for the first time in a day, Bette actually cracked a slight smile.
Tina said “Let me go put on some comfortable clothes that the girls brought me and can talk some more, ok?”
Bette nodded. After about five minutes, Tina emerged from the Bathroom in running pants, a tight fitted t shirt and a hoodie. She looked so casual and cute. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail and if you didn’t know any better, you would think she was poised for a lazy Sunday at home or a trip to the gym.
Bette said “You look so cute”.
Tina said “Really? Sweet of you to say…I am a little out of sorts with none of my own stuff. Kit is going to send me some stuff to the hotel this week though. Until then, I have what the girls brought me from around town. Bette, do you want anything?”
Bette said “A bandana for my hair, which is totally gross by now”.
Tina laughed and said “One bandana ordered. Got it”.

Just how I like it…so glad Tina put Joni finally in her place hehe. And Bette letting Tina take care of her is a great proof of the big love and trust between them. Hope you’re feeling better now *hugs*

I know where you are coming from with being ill. I just have a sinus infection,and lot of allergies, Ear ach sore throat and bronchits. No cold. This will be all winter with me. Hope you are better. Misery loves company,but dont wish it on anyone.. That is our Alpha Tina.She needed to do this from the beginning. Someone needs to be with Bette at all times either Tina or Shane.Jodie will be back and try something. she was to willing to leave.and without a fight. thanks

Hope that you are feeling better. I loved how Tina put her foot down with Jodi. Bette needs to be comforted and loved, not someone telling her how bad of a person she is. Tina is good for Bette in all aspects of her life.

So glad that Tina finally let her alpha side come out and stood up to Jodie and put her out of the hospital. Love alpha Tina and that fierce right hook. Now she needs to go and change the visitor’s list to keep that fool away from Bette. Get a restraining order if necessary, that would not only keep her away from Bette’s room but away from hospital property, which I’m sure is extensive and that would put her out in the middle of the street about 1000′ ft. away. LOL. Tina was cute, …..I’ll let you get to second base. Great chapter. PPS
It is so difficult to be in Bette’s position. I had a stroke and couldn’t do anything for myself; my partner at the time was always there helping me. We are not together anymore but I will always remember the kindness and support
So glad Tina finally stood up to Jodi. What a selfish bitch. Its gonna be hard for Bette but Tina is their and she has to have the faith and trust in her that she felt when she gave her the power legally to be the one to look after her.
