Bette slowly started flutter her eyes and focus in on where she was. She had no idea how long she had been asleep and was very disoriented. She looked to the left and to the right and did not see Tina. She lifted her head a bit and looked over to the window bench bed and did not see Tina there either. Her heart started to race and she started to panic. What if Tina returning last night was a dream. She was trying desperately to remember the course of events in the right chronology and she knew that a nurse mentioned something about pain medication and a sedative. She knew she was thrashing and turning and could have sworn that Tina returned and said she would not leave her side. But she was not here, so Bette must have been dreaming or hallucinating.
Bette first whispered “Tina?”
No answer. No sounds except for the incessant beeping and humming of the hospital equipment.
Bette said louder “Tina?”
Still no answer. Bette paused and then she really hit the panic button in her head and realized that she was alone in the hospital in Oregon and that she totally pissed Tina off and really fucked up. She started to remember all the insecurities that Jodie placed in her head before she was sedated the day before.
In a panic scream Bette yelled “Tina, Tina, Where are you?”
All of the sudden Tina came running out of the bathroom with a toothbrush still jutting out of her mouth.
“Bette! Bette! Is everything ok? Are you ok? What hurts? Do I get the nurse?” Tina said muffled, because she had a toothbrush in her mouth.
Bette stared at Tina, unable to speak. All at once, Bette started crying. There were a million thoughts going through her head. Bette was in pain, but she was also lost. She had no control over anything going on and she felt overwhelmingly vulnerable, a place that was not exactly a comfort zone for her. Tina dressed in nothing but a towel tucked around her was becoming increasingly concerned.
Tina said “Bette, talk to me, what is wrong? I need you to help me. I need you to help tell me what is wrong so I can help you.”

Just how I like it…so glad Tina put Joni finally in her place hehe. And Bette letting Tina take care of her is a great proof of the big love and trust between them. Hope you’re feeling better now *hugs*

I know where you are coming from with being ill. I just have a sinus infection,and lot of allergies, Ear ach sore throat and bronchits. No cold. This will be all winter with me. Hope you are better. Misery loves company,but dont wish it on anyone.. That is our Alpha Tina.She needed to do this from the beginning. Someone needs to be with Bette at all times either Tina or Shane.Jodie will be back and try something. she was to willing to leave.and without a fight. thanks

Hope that you are feeling better. I loved how Tina put her foot down with Jodi. Bette needs to be comforted and loved, not someone telling her how bad of a person she is. Tina is good for Bette in all aspects of her life.

So glad that Tina finally let her alpha side come out and stood up to Jodie and put her out of the hospital. Love alpha Tina and that fierce right hook. Now she needs to go and change the visitor’s list to keep that fool away from Bette. Get a restraining order if necessary, that would not only keep her away from Bette’s room but away from hospital property, which I’m sure is extensive and that would put her out in the middle of the street about 1000′ ft. away. LOL. Tina was cute, …..I’ll let you get to second base. Great chapter. PPS
It is so difficult to be in Bette’s position. I had a stroke and couldn’t do anything for myself; my partner at the time was always there helping me. We are not together anymore but I will always remember the kindness and support
So glad Tina finally stood up to Jodi. What a selfish bitch. Its gonna be hard for Bette but Tina is their and she has to have the faith and trust in her that she felt when she gave her the power legally to be the one to look after her.

too bad tina didn’t lose the towel when she was washing bette… that would of evened it up for bette… maybe the next time she bathes her she will also be naked… but make sure she locks the door… also glad tine threw jodie out… good chapter… PPS
