    Sometime later, I’m not sure how long I wake up to my bed, my room, my house.  I can’t believe all what happened in the past couple days.  Turning I watch my Bette sleeping.  She’s so beautiful.  Before I can stop myself I reach out and trace a finger over her naked back.  I run my finger along her spine and watch as goose bumps erupt on her beautiful flesh.

    Soon Bette is stirring from my soft touch and she turns her head toward me.

     

    “Hey T,” she whispers with a bright smile

     

    “Hey yourself.”

     

    “What are you doing up?”

     

    “Just thinking and watching you.”

     

    Bette turns to her side and I watch as the sheet covering us both falls just below Bette’s *****.  I can’t help but stare at those glorious *****.  Bette chuckles and pulls the sheet up higher.

     

    “Hey,” I exclaim

     

    “What were you thinking about Tina?”

     

    I immediately noticed the tone of Bette’s voice as well as the look in her eyes.  I feel it’s best to tell her exactly what I’ve been thinking.

     

    “I’m thankful that I’m here in this bed, in this house with you.”

     

    Bette nods her head, “I’m glad of that as well.”

     

    Bette scoots closer to me and wraps her arms around my body.  She lays her head against my chest.

     

    “What are you thinking baby?”

     

    “I killed someone today.”

     

    I can’t help but flinch at this.  I pull Bette in closer to me.

     

    “That was an unfortunate accident baby, you’re going to have to forgive yourself.”

     

    “I don’t know if I can,” I hear Bette whisper against my neck

     

    “I’ll be here to help you try.”

     

    Bette lifts her head and looks me in the eyes, “I should be focused on you.  You’re the one that’s been locked up.”

     

    “She didn’t do anything to me Bette.  That really wasn’t Carmen.”

     

    Bette bowed her head and looked up at me again, “That’s what Shane said.”

     

    “Shane is right.”

     

    Bette lays her head back on my chest and I can feel her nod.

     

    “It’s justI’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that one of our closest friends was soobsessed with me, that she was willing to go to extraordinary lengths to get to me.  I haven’t had time to accept this as fact, let alone accept that I killed her, however unfortunate of an accident it turned out to be.”

    1. DAMN…that was sad, loving, and hot. It’s so sad that Bette lost a part of her innocence and that she feels a little lost. But it’s lovely how both Bette & Tina will be there for one another during this trial. This too they shall overcome. Love the story Reba…please continue.

    10. OK! I just caught up. You have too many stories and chapters for me to READ!!!! First chapter, way too much drama, but that is how you got me attention. Just trying to figure out which story to read next. What do you recommend? I am so hooked on this story that I stayed up knowing full well that I should be sleeping. You are a really good writer.
