    Tina

     

    I enter the house with a smile on my face.  I’m always joyful to walk into the home that I share with the love of my life and our sons.  It is about four in the afternoon.  I see that the light on the answering machine is blinking and I press play.  I have to smile when I hear the message from Julia.  She really does love it in Australia. 

    I certainly surprised when I hear the next message.  Tatyana Verakova in person.  She sounds *****.  Damn!  She wants to be friends with Bette.

     

    I wonder how Bette feels about that?  I suppose I’ll just go ask her.  I ascend the stairs to the bedroom and smile what I see when I open the door.  Bette is sprawled on her stomach lying diagonally across the bed very much asleep.

     

    The thing that made this all the more amusing that she was clad only in a towel and her hair was damp.  It was like she was too tired to even get dressed.  I drop my things near the door and go over to the side of the bed where Bette’s head is resting and I kneel down.

     

    “Babe?”

     

    No reaction from her and I reach out and stroke her hair.  That was always good for waking her up.  I smile when she starts to stir and lifts her head to look at me.  She blinks a moment and has the cutest look on her face.  When her eyes clear and she sees me she smiles.

     

    “Hey T.”

     

    “Have a good nap?”

     

    Bette yawns, “Yeah.  Did you just get home?”

     

    “Yes.  You must have been really tired babe.”

     

    “Why do you say that sweets,” she asks laying her head back down

     

    “You’re still in your towel.”

     

    She lifts her head and looks over her shoulder at her current state of undress, “So I am.”

     

    “We should get you dressed.”

     

    She smiles wickedly, “Or we can get you undressed.”

     

    “Oh yeah,” I ask

     

    Bette sits up and throws off the towel and I gasp whenever I see her glorious body.  She swings her legs over the side of the bed and starts unbuttoning my shirt.  My eyes are focused on her *****, as they usually are.  They are still very large as how she is still breastfeeding the boys.  Bette has been attempting to wean them off and on the bottles but they don’t much like the bottles.

    12. This was so beautiful!
      I love this Tina who can be jealous but at the same time is able to trust Bette. She has this confidence that is much more evident while at the same time much less “aggressive” than what we saw on season 2 of the show. I have to say, your Tina is WAY more Tina than the Tina of season 2 =P
      And I love this Bette who can be calm and centered like an “older Bette” and, as Tina keeps noting, cute and spontaneous like a “younger Bette” all in one person.

      It’s so good to see both Bette and Tina so mature without losing the romance and the spark (as we saw in the last chapter when Bette was talking to Shane). Yay for sparks and maturity! =D

      I love these little moments where Bette and Tina connect and share their complete essence with each other.
      This story has had it all twice over in fact.
      Please keeop it coming cuz I love it that way.
      Your Bette is so refreshing. She has been freed by the memory loss.
      And I love that Tina completely trusted Bette about Tatyana. She was ready to invite her straight away. No doubt or niggles were there.
