Tina: So babe… I’m dying to know what you are going to do to Helena…
Bette: I’ll come up with something… she wanted me to fail, you know that… I think I may just play along with it until the Board meeting… let her get her jollies and then just shoot her down…
Tina: Wish I could be there watching you in action…
Bette: I wish you could be too… I can’t wait to fill James in…
Tina: Well enough talk about HER… how about we make dinner and watch a boring movie so I can have my way with you on the couch…
Bette: Let’s just skip the movie and move this into the bedroom… after we have dinner that is…
Tina: Sounds like a plan…

Monday Morning at “The Planet”… Bette and Tina walk in and order breakfast and make their way over the "Their Table"…
Alice: Hey look who’s back… how was your trip…
Bette: It was what it was… but things turned out better then they might have…
Dana: I don’t understand… what happened…
Tina: Lovely Helena… that’s what happened…
Bette: But in the end I won… and today is payday…
Alice: Oh… what are you going to do…
Bette: I guess you’ll all have to wait till either tonight or tomorrow morning… I need to get to work early this morning… so ladies I am off… (Kissing Tina goodbye)… talk to you later…
Tina: Have a good day babe… and I want details…
Alice: We all want details…
Bette walks out…
Alice: Ok Tee spill it… what did Miss Hot Pants do…
Tina then fills them in on the weekends events…
Kit came over and heard the story…
Kit: I feel sorry for that spoiled lady today…
Tina: Believe me she will get what she has coming…
Kit: I have no doubt…

Bette arrived at the CAC… just before everyone else… she was in her office going over her mail…
James: Hey you’re early… so how was the trip…
Bette: Grab your coffee and come back here and lock the door…
James: This sounds good… be right back… you want another fresh cup…
Bette: Might as well… thanks…
James comes back, locks the door and makes himself comfortable…
Bette: That BITCH… she knew when I left that Toni doesn’t take appointments on the weekend…
James just listened… he know better then to ask questions when Bette was starting to rant…
Bette: So here I am talking to his secretary… and now I am a fool… she had to be thinking what a bunch of incompetent idiots that work there… don’t they talk to each other… she said on the weekends Toni spends the time with the family…
James: So what did you do…
Bette: What could I do… I apologized… and before I could say anything else… she said… that she spoke to a woman… with an English accent… a pushy broad… her words… mine would have curled her hair…
James: I bet…
Bette: Well after I felt like a total idiot… my eyes scanned the studio looking for Tina… I had to get the hell out of there before I screamed… Well she saw me looking around… and I said I was looking for my wife… well and are you ready for this… it turns out that Tina was already having tea with her wife… and becoming friends… while I was sweating… anyway… it turns out that this woman who I thought was Tony’s secretary… was actually Toni…
James: What… he was a she…
Bette: Yep… Toni with an "I"… but between you and me… it all worked out and she is ready to sign the contracts as soon as we get them mailed to her…
James: I knew you would get him er her to sign… so now between me and you…
Bette: Of course…
James: What are you going to do…
Bette: Well PAYBACK IS A BITCH… AND THE BITCH’S NAME IS BETTE PORTER…

Hi Mary, I love the relationships in this story (Bette and Tina, Bette and James, James and Lisa, Tina and Jill,etc. I know that Helena is pissed, but it could have been worse, that what happens when you get caught with you hand in the cookie jar (hee hee). I hope that Franklyn realize that Peggy was also putting him on notice and he doesn’t have “blood” for protection. GREAT update girl :o).

Will Helena ever learn? Because she didn’t get what she wanted from B&T she tried to make Bette look incompetent but only succeeded in doing it to her self. Hope she has had enough, but probably not. PPS

No wonder Helena’s jealous. Not only did Peggy side against her in public, but she sat next to Bette. Not that Helena didn’t deserve it. But I think that’s only going to inspire more bad behavior from Helena.
