    CHAPTER 3: “Bette and Angelica view Bette’s photo album, and of course she has more questions to ask,therefore Henry becomes jealous of Tina’s interest in Bette’s happiness, and Tina asks Bette out on a date” A Bette and Tina beginning

    “yeah, whatever”, Henry replied.

    “what does that mean?”, Tina asked.

    “nothing. Have a good time. I’ll see you when you get back”, Henry replied.

    “okay…bye”, Tina said. She left the house.

    Bette’s house

    (Bette’s out back with Angelica. The brunette heard her cellphone ring, and she went to answer it)

    “stay away from the water”, Bette said.

    “okay mommy”, Angelica replied.

    Bette walked into the livingroom and retrieved her cell from her purse. “hello”, Bette said.

    “hey”, Tina replied. “how are you?”, Tina asked.

    “I’m good, and yourself?”, Bette asked.

    “I’m okay, I could be better, but I’m here”, Tina replied.

    “good. The baby’s here. Do you wanna talk with her?”, Bette asked.

    “yeah,but not right now. Do you have a sec?”, Tina asked

    “sure…”,Bette replied. She stepped out back, and sat down in her chair.

    “mommy”, Angelica said.

    “hold on Tina”, Bette said. “what’s wrong Angie?”, Bette asked

    “is that momma T on the phone?”, Angelica asked

    “yeah?”, Bette replied.

    “never mind”, Angelica said. She backed away and let her mother talk with Tina. She was happy that they were talking, because they rarely talk, besides saying hi, and goodbye.

    Bette gazed over at Angelica and shook her head. “Tina”, Bette said.

    “I’m here. Is she driving you crazy over there?”, Tina asked.

    “no, she’s good. She doesn’t bother me one bit, so what’s up?”, Bette asked.

    “oh…”, Tina said. She had to recall her thought that she just lost. “oh, you know the baby’s birthday is on Friday right?”, Tina asked

    “no I didn’t”, Bette replied. She went inside and checked the calendar. The day was circled with Angelica’s name in the center.

    “yeah, she’ll be four, and I wanted to throw her a birthday party. I know it’s the weekend that your suppossed to watch her, but I was wondering would it be okay to throw her a party at your place on Saturday?”, Tina asked.

    “sure, do you already have a list made up?”, Bette asked.

    “no, but I’m working on it. I should have it done by tomorrow. Are you sure it’s okay to have the party, because I would hate to intrude on your busy schedule?”, Tina asked.

    “no, of course not”, Bette replied. She chuckled in the background as she watched her daughter play with her ball. The baby accidently kicked the ball in the pool.

    7. love that kid… and henry is a dick with ears… get rid of him and get bette and tina back together… i hope he doesn’t come to the party… is that why tina wants the party at bette’s… hmmmmmmmmmm

    8. LMAO@Amanda’s “dick with ears” comment. It’s so obvious that Angelica gets her smarts from Bette. Angelica will probably be a negotiation queen when it comes to getting punished for breaking rules when she’s a teenager.

    15. This story is just so sweet. It is so neat that it is Angelica that is trying get Bette and Tina back together. Do I get a hint that Henry is jealous about Tina’s response to Bette. He better not push Tina or she will be running back to Bette faster than an Olympic runner can run. Of course I hope that he makes an a$$ of himself and that Tina makes a beeline to Bette’s door and bed.

    16. Hey CFTW, you are making fantastic progress with these folks. Tina actually stepped up and asked Bette out. Great. And this kid…Angelica… she’s just pushing her parents together, alll the time. More power to her. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
