    Author Notes:

    A long day.

    It had been a long and trying day at the office for Bette Porter.  Her students were flooding her office all hours of the day asking questions about the pending mid term.  Not to mention countless meetings about policy changes and the announcement of a need for a new dean of the School of Arts.  She was exhausted and wanted nothing more then to relax at home with her family.  She pulled her car into the garage and entered the house.  No one was downstairs and it was seemingly quiet.   She ascended the stairs and just as she turned the corner Angelica came babbling naked down the hall.
     
    Angelica:  “Mama!”
     
    Bette dropped her bag and immediately bent down to pick up her excited child.  Harmony came running out the bathroom soon after.
     
    Harmony:  “Angie!”
     
    Bette:  “Naked baby!!”
     
    Bette scooped up the wet and child as she hugged and kissed her.
     
    Harmony:  “Careful babe she’s wet, don’t mess up your suit.”
     
    Bette:  “Its ok.  I think this is your suit anyway.”
     
    Harmony just stood there with a faux aggravated look on her face.  But she really didn’t care either.  Bette gave Harmony the once over.
     
    Bette:  “Still haven’t gotten the hang of this whole bathing thing.”
     
    Harmony:  “I dunno how you do it.  I can’t seem to bathe her without end up drenched.”
     
    Bette laughed allowed at her cute partner.
     
    Bette carried Angelica to the room and sat on the bed with her.  Bette bounced her on her knee as Harmony changed her t-shirt.  As she turned back around she noticed Bette suppressing a yawn.
     
    Harmony:  “Ok naked baby its time to get dressed and go to bed.  Mama’s tired.”
     
    Bette:  “Oh no babe I can…”
     
    Harmony:  “No, No.  Stay here.  I’ll be right back.  Don’t move.  Ok?”
     
    Bette:  “Alright.”
     
    Harmony:  “Promise?”
     
    Bette:  “Yes, I promise.”
     
    Harmony:  “Ok.”
     
    She turned and exited with Angelica in her arms.
     
    Harmony:  “Say goodnight to mommy.”
     
    Angelica:  “gago goga mama.”
     
    Bette:  “Night sweetie.”
     
    Harmony was gone for five minutes.  She put Angelica in her bed.  Turned on her night light, then closed the door.  She went back to the bed room.  Bette was still there where Harmony left her.

    7. Hey Vibes,I’d love to have someone do this for me as well; especially what Bette is doing for Harm at the end of your story. You definitely need to start the next chapter where this scene leaves off…..post soon.
