    Time to see what Angie has been doing while Lyndsay makes her visits…….

     

    Chapter 3

    ROME……..

    Angelica had returned to the hotel following her meeting. When she checked her email she found one from Lyndsay saying that her meeting with Helena in LA had gone well, that she missed her like crazy and she would try to call her later.

    Sending a response Angie indicated to Lyndsay that she knew everything would go well with Helena, and that she too had a successful afternoon. She also made certain to let Lyndsay know how much she missed her.

    Angie sat down at the desk and pulled out the information for her next meeting later that afternoon. She had finally been able to secure a meeting with a renowned Italian sculptor named Giovanni Toscana. He rarely granted any time to gallery owners, but after hearing of the success of her gallery in New York, he had granted Angie 30 minutes. It also didn’t hurt that he had previous dealings with Bette and that played a small part in him granting Angelica a few minutes of his time. It got her through the door, but she would need to make an impression on the artist if she wanted to have a remote chance of securing a show of his in the future.

    Wanting to ensure that she covered all the bases, Angie reviewed all of her research on the reclusive artist just in case. If she could somehow convince him to at least consider doing something in the future it will have been time well spent.

     

    It was now early evening………and as her meeting with Giovanni was wrapping up, Angie was pleased at the conversation they had shared.

    “Well Mr. Toscana I want to thank you for your time. I hope that I was able to provide you enough incentives to seriously consider my gallery in the future to showcase your collection in New York.”

    “Ms Porter, I have to say, I had heard about you and your little gallery, but I had a hard time believing that someone so young could be so knowledgeable.”

    With confidence Angelica responded “Mr. Toscana, as you know, I learned from the best and even though I may be young in the views of some in the art world, I assure you that I am quite educated in art in all its forms. I hope that the next time you are in New York, that you will stop by and see for yourself just what ‘my little gallery’ has to offer.”

    2. Ok so a smaller cliffy but I think I can live with this one. The other two killed me. I love this couple they are just so cute. Thanks for bringing this story back. Can’t wait to see what Lyndsay has planned plus Angie’s cabin get-away. I just love how much they care for each other.

    7. Tazzieeeee! I read this late last night and came back to leave my comment while my eyes were fresh! I just love the chemistry that you have built between these two gals.     9. Wow, I’ve been away for awhile, and am just finding some time to catch up, and what do I find? One of my favorite writers decided to do a follow up on one of the best stories written. Lovin this as much as I did the original. They are too cute. Looking forward to the next update.
