    Chapter 6. A B&T Story.

    “Thanks what took you so…” said Bette, turning around expecting a friend, Tina’s lips brushed her left cheek with electrifying heat.  Surprised, desire, happiness, and confusion appeared simultaneously in Bette’s expressive eyes, a heart distance from the woman of her

    “Hi”

    “Tina… hi, what are you doing here?” Bette asked, hoarsely as her voice recovered from the shock.

    “Celebrating the New Year” said Tina, holding Bette’s gaze intensely and waiting for the tense look on Bette to dissipated before saying her next line “with you” and pulling the stunned brunette into her enchanted dance.

    The fireworks must have gone off prematurely, because all Bette can make after Tina’s statement and action were the snaps, crackles, and pops as her brain’s fizzles.  All she can see was the sparkles in Tina’s eyes.  Left reached for Right, and right for left, the blonde boldly kept a tight grasped on Bette’s hands and pulled her forward… their bodies touched… the intensity raged… Bette struggled to free herself… Tina gripped tighter… their cheeks locked-in a duel… a feather kiss seared into the addictive scent… Bette succumbed to burning of her flesh.

    “I… sorry Tina, I’ll be right back” Bette pushed Tina off in a panic, sensing her emotions being compromised by Tina’s presence and the heat building around them.  Bette makes a quick getaway and exited out the side door of the Festival Hall to a glass-enclosed corridor letting the cold air chilled her erratic beating.  Tina followed closely behind, as expected, she watched Bette retreating figure with a satisfactory smile.

    Tina quietly watched as Bette paces back and forth in front of the window, her deliberation must have stopped as her posture stilled, staring out into the darkened space beyond the window.  Tina took off her shoes and tiptoeing behind the lone figure, not wanting to disturb her thought yet, unable to keep herself at bay any longer.  Tina heart’s ache seeing the slumped in Bette’s stand, she just want to wrapped her arms around the defeated figure and make it all better and she did.

    “What…” Bette was startled by a sudden enclosure around her waist.

    “It’s okay Bette, it’s just me.” Tina whispered, placing her face against Bette’s back and arms securely locked around her waist.

    2. Thanks for the back story on Candace and for the kiss (durrrrrrr lol). Now I have to wonder what Leigh has to do with Tina. Things that make you go hmmm…

    6. Now, now Lament, I personally have nonething against you giving or getting a kiss from Curioust. Just as long as she has time to write and post her story. LOL Back to the stoy, I hope that Tina is going to call Bette. Communication ladies, communication :o)

    7. Oh goodie, Tina is going to step out again and reach for Bette. Happy that Candace is related to Bette and not after her. Too bad that show did not go with this angle since it was known that her father was one to step out on his wives. Shane and Candace make a cute couple. It will be nice to see how Bette takes to Tina contacting her. Loved how you explained their first meeting (Bette and Candace) and first contact of skin (Bette and Tina).

    8. Okay, am arrived only now to read chapter 5 and 6. So light slowly comes into the darkness. So Candace is Bette’s half-sister. We only need the solution for Bette’s accident now. And still it apparently is damaged by it physically. Do I see this right or why does everybody have such worries about Bette’s state of health? It becomes slowly time, this Bette and Tina meet and begin to close the gaps of their past. And I hope they will build up a future together.

    10. It is nice to know that Candace and Bette are sister’s. Please let Tina and Bette hook up real soon. Maybe just to talk . What up with Leigh? Thank you Great Chapter. PPS
