    Chapter 6. A B&T Story.

    “Hey Jenny, can I talk with you for a sec?” Asked Tina, nervously as she approached Jenny at the table.

    “Sure Tina, what’s on your mind?” Replied Jenny, tentatively waited for Tina take a sit and unload.

    “I think Bette is upset with me but she didn’t say anything and been kind of distant.  Did she say anything to you?  Is she mad?” Tina voiced her concerns, dropping down in the sit next to Jenny.

    “Ah… Tina, I think you should talk to Bette” Jenny hesitated, not wanting to reveal a friend’s confidence.

    “I’ve tried, but all she said was that it’s her fault and leaves it at that,” said Tina, her eyes misted with sadness.

    “I think she’s scare Tina” Jenny let slip, seeing Tina defeated posture.

    “Scare… scare of what” asked Tina, utterly confused by Jenny’s words

    “Her feelings for you”

    “She had feeling for me, what feeling,” said Tina, astonished by the new finding.

    “Uh… I don’t think it’s my place to say it Tina, I’m sorry” Jenny backtracked, gathering her books for a quick getaway from revealing any more of Bette’s secret.

    “Please Jenny, only you can help, I have no one to talk to about it.  I’m going crazy not knowing what had happen and why she’s being so distant with me, please Jenny.” Tina pleaded, grasping at Jenny’s arm and preventing her premature departure.

    “Bette is… ah… uhm… gay Tina,” said Jenny, staring directly at Tina trying to make out the stunned expression on the blonde face.  Tina returned an inquisitive stare waiting for Jenny to elaborate.

    “She likes you so much that it scares her.  She know you have a boyfriend and even though it kills her to keep a distance, she never hesitates.”

    “I don’t have a boy friend; Eric’s just a family friend” replied Tina, indignantly.

    “Oh?” Said Jenny surprised by Tina’s statement as a thought crossed her mind.

    “Oh… wait, did she think he is my boyfriend”

    “I think so.”  Said Jenny, watching Tina closely for a reaction to the next statement she was about to unleashed.

    “Bette is my best friend and I don’t want to see her hurt.  If you’re just trying to fulfill your curiosity then pick someone else.  If you’re not sure, then be certain with your feelings before taking the next step.  Now that the truth is out, the next step is in your hand.  Just remember, be true to you and give Bette that same truth once you’re clear, she deserve it and so do you.”  Tina sat back, letting the grip on Jenny’s arm go as the statement slowly seeped into her consciousness.

    2. Thanks for the back story on Candace and for the kiss (durrrrrrr lol). Now I have to wonder what Leigh has to do with Tina. Things that make you go hmmm…

    6. Now, now Lament, I personally have nonething against you giving or getting a kiss from Curioust. Just as long as she has time to write and post her story. LOL Back to the stoy, I hope that Tina is going to call Bette. Communication ladies, communication :o)

    7. Oh goodie, Tina is going to step out again and reach for Bette. Happy that Candace is related to Bette and not after her. Too bad that show did not go with this angle since it was known that her father was one to step out on his wives. Shane and Candace make a cute couple. It will be nice to see how Bette takes to Tina contacting her. Loved how you explained their first meeting (Bette and Candace) and first contact of skin (Bette and Tina).

    8. Okay, am arrived only now to read chapter 5 and 6. So light slowly comes into the darkness. So Candace is Bette’s half-sister. We only need the solution for Bette’s accident now. And still it apparently is damaged by it physically. Do I see this right or why does everybody have such worries about Bette’s state of health? It becomes slowly time, this Bette and Tina meet and begin to close the gaps of their past. And I hope they will build up a future together.

    10. It is nice to know that Candace and Bette are sister’s. Please let Tina and Bette hook up real soon. Maybe just to talk . What up with Leigh? Thank you Great Chapter. PPS
