“Soyou work at a shop with that gorgeous woman?” Alice asked.

Velvet looked at Billie and then down. “Yes.”

“What kind of shop is it?” Eve said innocently.

Billie ran her hands through her hair. “It’s an adult shop.”

The table got quiet.

“Way cool! You get to see all the new toys. Can you hook me up with a discount?” Zo asked happily.

“I think that drink has gone to your head, Zo.” Carmen said quietly.

Jenny sat quietly with the other women. She tried to keep a reassuring smile on. Billie grabbed her cup and drank the clear liquid quickly.

“All right, I sell things in the toy section of the shop.” Billie blurted.

“See, not a big deal.” Carmen shrugged.

“I don’t just sell toys.” Billie’s deep voice croaked.

“Oh.” Zo said softly.

The tall boi rubbed her neck.

“It’s cool, Billie, this is none of our business..”  Shane said shooting glances at the other women.

“What does Maia do there?” Alice asked.

Tina cleared her throat.

“She is a peep show girl. She uses her belling dancing techniques there.” Billie answered.

Zo’s eyes popped wide. “Ohhh can we get the address to this place?” Carmen sighed loudly. “I’m just trying to make things a little lighter.”

“Don’t.” Carmen growled.

Jenny looked at the brunette next to her. Billie sighed.

“My job is to get people to come back to the peep shows. It’s tasteful, not gross and dirty.”

“See no biggie.” Eve nodded trying to act like none of this was surprising to her.

Velvet stared at her sister, while Jenny remained quietly supportive.

“Tell us about Seattle.” Shane said changing the subject.

“Well, the club Andie is working at is doing amazingly. She brings the house down and really has these routines with the girls that are perfect. Andie really misses you guys. She looks great.” Velvet answered. “I asked her to come to see us. She said she would try.”

Shane lifted herself up. ” That’s great.” She smiled. “I’m gonna go see what else they have to drink here.
