“Ohhh.” Eve nodded. Shane smirked and then saw Zo coming their way, who quickly turned around and walked in the other direction.

“Zo?” Shane called out.

Zo stopped in her tracks and then began to pretend to take interest in one of the tapestries on the wall.

“Z?” Shane said behind Zo. The pixie closed her eyes and mouthed the word “fuck” to herself. She gritted herself and swirled around smiling widely.

“Shane, hey! Hi Eve! I didn’t see you guys there!” Zo placed her hands on her hips.

“Yeah you did. I saw you look right at me.” Shane’s face scrunched up confused.

Zo bit her lip. “I did? Ohhmmm.”

As Zo pretended to be bewildered, Shane nodded towards the table where the entourage was. “So everybody here?”

“Yeppers. Well, I’m off to get drinks for the ladies.” Zo spun around to try and hurry off.

“Zo. What the fuck is up with you?” Shane stared at the small blonde. Eve glanced over Shane’s shoulder at Zo.

“Nothing. What could possibly be wrong. other than Alice kind of giving me the silent treatment.” Zo blurted out. Eve exhaled.

Shane placed a hand on Zo’s shoulder. “No it’s more than that.”

“It is?” Zo gulped.

“Andie called didn’t she?” Shane said calmly. “You know you don’t have to hide that you talked to her. I expect it she is like your family. It’s cool. Can you get Eve and I whatever everyone else is getting please?” Shane smacked Zo hard on the back, causing the blonde to cough.

“I’ll be right there.” Eve called after Shane as she walked away. Then turned and looked at Zo, who had all ready reached the bar. The taller girl stood next to Zo and placed her elbow on the side of the bar. Zo began to get uncomfortable, but kept Eve her sight by glancing at her through the corner of her blue eyes. She began to tap her finger like Alice nervously as they waited for their drinks.

“So they say they don’t serve beer here. They serve something else that I can not pronounce.” Zo laughed nervously. “So..how’s work treating ya?”
