Tina – I love it!
The brunette raises an eyebrow.
Bette – Two women?
The producer smiles teasingly.
Tina – Definitely women! Can’t you see it?
The brunette stares at the painting with a smirk.
Bette – How blind was I?
She winks and brings her hand to the blonde’s earring, holding it.
Bette – I remember these …
Tina grins.
Tina – I had to wear them tonight.
Bette – They are my favorite.
They stare into each other’s eyes with smiles on their faces.
David Ross approaches them.
David – Nice to see the two beauties together!
Tina looks at Bette surprised.
Bette – He figured it out.
David – Oh, it was not difficult! I knew that this would happen from the first time I saw the two of you together in my house. Sparks were flying that night!
The brunette looks into the blonde’s eyes with adoration.
Bette – Never underestimate my ability to acquire magnificent pieces of art, David.
David – Never! You’ve learned from the master!
They laugh.
Tina – And here I was using all my charm to convince him to rent his house … when all along I could have used the perfect weapon!
She winks at Bette.
David – You certainly know the ways of the art world, my dear! Has Bette been teaching you?
Bette – Teachings from the old master!
He laughs.

Bette Porter Gallery, main room, night: Guests are starting to leave. Brad and Mark approach Meg and Tina.
Brad – Honey, it’s getting late. Should we leave now?
Meg – Already?
Brad chuckles and turns to his friend.
Brad – I told you …
Tina – Why don’t you stay with me? I can drive you home later.
Meg – OK.
She turns to her husband and smiles.
Meg – You are free to go!
Brad laughs.
Mark – Damn, you just made me lose a bet, Tina!
Brad – And you are paying, buddy! Mark and I are going for pizza!
Meg makes a face.
Meg – Pizza?! I can’t believe you two are hungry!
Brad wraps his arm around his wife’s waist and kisses her.
Brad – Always hungry!
The four friends kiss goodbye and the two men walk over to Bette before leaving.

Very nice…..Tina speaks her truth to Eric and reveals that she and Bette are together to Gwen. She is taking some bold steps toward coming out. I like it. I’m sure Bette enjoyed the attention in front of Gwen. Now, time to get on home to your celebration Ms Bette!!

I fell so far behind in reading this and just caught up! This story brings such a smile to my face and I still love every moment of it! I’m kind of happy that I didn’t remember the whole story so that it could still feel like it was my first time reading it too but I definitely remembered this chapter!
