Tina knew that Bette would not leave Carmen for her, hoped that she would of course, but knew that she wouldnt. If for her own piece of mind she had to tell Bette the truth. Bette deserved that much. Looking up she was startled as Bette dropped into the chair in front of her.
Wheres Carmen, Tina asked as the two werent far from each other
Bette smiled at this taking a drink of her water, Shes dancing with Shane.
Tina noticed how Carmen and Shane were dancing and laughing with one another. The two of them had become true best friends over the last months.
So how are you enjoying your last night in sunny West Hollywood, Bette asked with a smile but Tina could see the sadness in her eyes
Im really enjoying it Bette.
I still cant believe youre moving to a place that has likewinter. What made you decide on Pittsburgh anyway?
Tina smiled broadly at this, Sounded like as good a place as any. They have a good program going down there for impoverished youths. They can really use the help.
Bette nodded her head and smiled at this, Whats the real reason youre leaving T?
Tinas eyes widened in surprise because Bette sure knew how to get down to the point didnt she?
I know its not because of Helena because you are SO over that. Tell me the real reason.

Bette wasnt being full of herself or prideful she really did believe it was because of her.
Yes, Tina stated after a moments silence

Tina looked around and then her eyes settled on Bettes chocolate orbs, Im still in love with you and that love isnt fading any.
Bette was silent and still for a moment and then she nodded her head.
Thats the only reaction that you have, Tina asked slightly offeneded by Bettes coolness to the situation, I just tell you Im in love with you still and you nod your head.
I already knew this fact Tina.
Tina offered up a super intelligent, Huh?
Its not hard to figure out T. I can see it in your eyes whenever you look at me.
Tina didnt really know what to say to this and so she remained silent.
I never said anything, Bette began, Because I didnt think you wanted me to know. You were trying to move on from all of this. I understand Tina.

Bette inclined her head, I may understand this is why you are moving across the country but I dont have to like it.
Tina smiled slightly at this, I wouldnt expect you to.
Bette sighed softly, You know that Ill always love you right?
Tina nodded her head, I know.
Ill fly out to see Arianna as often as I can.
I know this too. I always want you to be a part of her life.
Bette smiled, Are you sure you dont want any of us to see you off?
Im sure. You should go back to Carmen. Shes waving over here.
Bette turned to see Carmen and Shane both waving her over.
Ill see you later T, Bette remarked getting up and joining her love on the dance floor
Tina watched her friends with a smile and then quietly with no fanfare of any kind slipped out into the night to start her life anew not knowing of the heartaches that would befall all those she loved

first i want to thank you for your post…Then, i want to tell you that you’re a really good writer… i like your style…but that makes it even harder for me to tell you this: I HATE THIS STORY! I mean…if you had a heart you would understand that Bette and Tina belong together…I know that life isn’t always sweet and beautiful and full of love…and i could understand the fact that Tina and Bette may never been together again , never ever…(even if this simple idea breaks my heart)because it’s not always that easy…But if Tina can’t have Bette..then no one will! So please… try to understand my big delemnia: if tomorrow i see that you posted again…i won’t know where to find the courage not to read it…but on the other hand, it will break my heart even harder and deeper… So, i’m begging you: please, don’t do that to us..that’s not fair…I don’ believe in God but i have the faith right now… i believe in the fact you’re going to understand what i mean, what we ALL mean…Nevertheless, i want to thank you for making me feel “alive” trought your words and wish with all my heart that you will think about what we all wrote…

Fantastic chapter as ever but a little minx for this turn of events.
I like Bette and Carmen together, but not for long term; a distraction, definitely. Does Tina really have to start her life anew in Pittsburgh? I guess Bette deserves her chance to “move on,” even though I I want BnT to get back together ultimately. So sad.

cibomolko, you really need to understand the concept of fanfiction before you comment. It isn’t real life, it doesn’t really happen. It’s just a story, something that RebaKathy made up because she thought it would be interesting. Lighten up, it is hard to please everyone but I personally love the story and can’t wait to see where it goes. Just keep in mind that things aren’t always going to be how you want them to be, plus the story isn’t even completed. It could go a completely different way. Just wait before you flip out.
What a crappy thing for Tina to do to herself, Arianna, and Bette. As if she’s going to feel any better being away from all who love her. Shit. I don’t care whether B&T reunite – I like B&C – but I just hate that Tina’s moving so far away. So unfair. So selfish. So short-sighted. Dammit, you’ve done it again. OMG…I just finished reading this chapter and the one’s before this…goodness, Bette has really moved on…I mean I can’t blame her, but it’s supposed to be Bette&Tina, not Bette&Carmen…that just sounds wrong…lol…sorry, I just so want them to be back together. I’m sad I know, but I really do love your writing Reba, your stories rock!! Thanks, please update them all soon;)
Sorry I just had to come back, I read some of the comments and I just wanted to give you some major support Reba=) Honestly, people, it’s just a story, if you don’t like it…fine don’t read it…if you love it…then that’s great (I sure do love Reba’s work). But don’t take the story too literally…geez, let’s not get all nutz up in this place. Reba, your stories are bloody awesome, keep it up…you’ll always have me as a fan=P Thanks again=D

i agree with heartbreakershanesgirl & Change, it looks like that everyybody already knows the ending of all the stories and that is Bette & Tina back together. Dont get me wrong im a B&T fan, but there are so many sotries already on this fanfick about them that i think this a a very refreshing new angle to take the fanfick. We also know already from the preview for episode 9 that tina is going to kiss bette and they WILL get back together. So all our hopes are already being answered by Ilene in the show. I think we should just wait and see and support Reba on het journey of this story regardless if b&t get together. I kinda like the combo of B&C. Just keep it up Reba i think you are doing a wonderful job, and i find some of the comments a bit disrespectful since you keep us entertained with 3 different stories (which are all great) and which probably takes you a great deal of time to write to keep us entertained. I, for one, THANK YOU for devoting your time to these stories to keep us entertained!
