Tina sat and watched as her friends had fun. She watched as they danced, as they laughed. She couldnt help but smile at seeing everyone so happy. They were all very happy. Of this she was sure, but she couldnt help feel a little envious of all of them and their happiness. It had been five months since that fateful night they all had termed the incident where Shane had let loose with her feelings. Tina felt twinges of anger now and again by the things that had been said but for the most part it was all true. The truest thing of all being that Helena was toxic, on so many levels. Tina had come to realize this factoid, granted it was long after everyone else had, but still to it she had come.
Once this realization hit Helena had been kicked to the curb, not literally of course as Shane had done, but out of her and Ariannas life she had gone. Tina thought shed feel something because of this but all she felt was the regret of knowing she had ruined her chances to ever be with Bette again.
Bette.
Tina turned her attention to where Bette and Carmen were dancing to a slow song together. They were such a beautiful couple and even Tina could see how much in love with one another that they were. Theyd been together for five months and it was still going strong. Tina knew her love for Bette had not diminished in any great capacity. If anything it continued to grow as she watched Bette move on without her. A couple of months prior Tina had decided that she could no longer remain here, in this place, where she would see, her soul, her love with another.
It wasnt fair to Bette that she was bailing and of this Tina was also aware but she couldnt do this anymore. It hurt too much. An even harder decision was to leave with hers and Bettes daughter. Bette loved that little girl as if shed given birth to her and rightly so. Bette had begged and pleaded, shed many a tear to try and stop Tina from leaving but her mind had been set. Over the next two months Bette had come to accept Tinas choice, if begrudgingly. One thing that still plagued Tina is that everyone thought that she was leaving because of the whole fall out from Helena. That was one of the reasons she was leaving but not the biggest. Tina needed to tell Bette the truth, had to let her know the real reason that she was leaving. Working up the courage to do such a thing was another matter though.

How long will Bette let Tina be gone. She loves Carman,but still in love with Tina. Dont like Tina moving and taking the baby from Bette. This is sad. but gofor it.

My God…you’re killing me here!! I really really really want Bette and Tina to work thru this and get back together. I don’t get the carmen thing…I’ve never really been into her. Do I think she’s hot…yes of course. But the love of Bette and Tina…much hotter.

first i want to thank you for your post…Then, i want to tell you that you’re a really good writer… i like your style…but that makes it even harder for me to tell you this: I HATE THIS STORY! I mean…if you had a heart you would understand that Bette and Tina belong together…I know that life isn’t always sweet and beautiful and full of love…and i could understand the fact that Tina and Bette may never been together again , never ever…(even if this simple idea breaks my heart)because it’s not always that easy…But if Tina can’t have Bette..then no one will! So please… try to understand my big delemnia: if tomorrow i see that you posted again…i won’t know where to find the courage not to read it…but on the other hand, it will break my heart even harder and deeper… So, i’m begging you: please, don’t do that to us..that’s not fair…I don’ believe in God but i have the faith right now… i believe in the fact you’re going to understand what i mean, what we ALL mean…Nevertheless, i want to thank you for making me feel “alive” trought your words and wish with all my heart that you will think about what we all wrote…

Fantastic chapter as ever but a little minx for this turn of events.
I like Bette and Carmen together, but not for long term; a distraction, definitely. Does Tina really have to start her life anew in Pittsburgh? I guess Bette deserves her chance to “move on,” even though I I want BnT to get back together ultimately. So sad.

cibomolko, you really need to understand the concept of fanfiction before you comment. It isn’t real life, it doesn’t really happen. It’s just a story, something that RebaKathy made up because she thought it would be interesting. Lighten up, it is hard to please everyone but I personally love the story and can’t wait to see where it goes. Just keep in mind that things aren’t always going to be how you want them to be, plus the story isn’t even completed. It could go a completely different way. Just wait before you flip out.
What a crappy thing for Tina to do to herself, Arianna, and Bette. As if she’s going to feel any better being away from all who love her. Shit. I don’t care whether B&T reunite – I like B&C – but I just hate that Tina’s moving so far away. So unfair. So selfish. So short-sighted. Dammit, you’ve done it again. I am sucked so far into your stories I can’t help but react. And this is not a happy reaction. Grrrr. Thanks for that, I think. Hmm. Oh, very well done, I’d say!

OMG…I just finished reading this chapter and the one’s before this…goodness, Bette has really moved on…I mean I can’t blame her, but it’s supposed to be Bette&Tina, not Bette&Carmen…that just sounds wrong…lol…sorry, I just so want them to be back together. I’m sad I know, but I really do love your writing Reba, your stories rock!! Thanks, please update them all soon;)
Sorry I just had to come back, I read some of the comments and I just wanted to give you some major support Reba=) Honestly, people, it’s just a story, if you don’t like it…fine don’t read it…if you love it…then that’s great (I sure do love Reba’s work). i agree with heartbreakershanesgirl & Change, it looks like that everyybody already knows the ending of all the stories and that is Bette & Tina back together. Dont get me wrong im a B&T fan, but there are so many sotries already on this fanfick about them that i think this a a very refreshing new angle to take the fanfick. We also know already from the preview for episode 9 that tina is going to kiss bette and they WILL get back together. So all our hopes are already being answered by Ilene in the show. I think we should just wait and see and support Reba on het journey of this story regardless if b&t get together. I kinda like the combo of B&C. Just keep it up Reba i think you are doing a wonderful job, and i find some of the comments a bit disrespectful since you keep us entertained with 3 different stories (which are all great) and which probably takes you a great deal of time to write to keep us entertained. I, for one, THANK YOU for devoting your time to these stories to keep us entertained!
