I had to stop myself, so things wouldn’t go too far. Even though I’d helped her cheat, I wanted sex to happen after she left Eric and when she was ready. I didn’t want this situation to be any worse than it already was. She was shivering from excitement and also from nervousness.

“Are you ok Tee?”

“Yeah, I’m fine, just kind of nervous,” she said and smiled up at me, “Tee?”

“Yeah it just slipped out, I’m sorry.”

“Don’t apologize, I like it,” she said and I smiled, I lay beside her on the bed. I wrapped my arms around her and rest my hands on her stomach and pulled her to me.

“Why are you nervous?”

“I don’t know, I’ve never been with a woman. Sure I’ve kissed a couple of my girlfriends in college, but we were drunk and experimenting. I wasn’t sure of what I was feeling. But now I know. I just don’t want to disappoint you.”

“Don’t worry Tee, you won’t. With the right teacher, you’ll learn,” I say and she laughs a bit. We lay there in silence for a bit, both of us thinking the same thing.

“I’m gonna tell him it’s over. I just need a little time to detach before I leave him. I want him to see it coming, I don’t wanna blindside him because I want to be able to take Jackson with me.”

“I really hate being the reason you’re ending your marriage. I feel so guilty.”

“Don’t be, and you’re not the reason. We’ve been going downhill since Jackson was born.”

“Why?”

“Well, when I met Eric, I was still in nursing school and he was this older, handsome guy and he wooed me. He didn’t want kids, and I was still really young and I thought I didn’t either, until I got a bit older. The baby bug was biting me, and I seriously considered leaving him because of it until one day Jackson surprised us. Don’t get me wrong; Eric loves Jackson with all his heart, he just feels he can’t do what he wants because he’s got someone else to think about before himself.”

“I would have never guessed Eric wasn’t child friendly. He’s so good with Jackson.”
