Once they reached the zoo, Tinas mind was too occupied with Kristen, the boys and the animals that she didnt have time to think about Bette. Almost. There were many times throughout the morning that Tinas mind wander to Bette and wondered if it was too early to call her. Or even if it was acceptable. At the same time a couple hundred miles away, Bette was wondering the same thing.

Bette: Its too early to call her Alice. Most people would have considered 11 am too early to be up, but for Bette it was normal. She considered her work a 24-hour business, and that usually entailed pulling double duty on the weekends. Today she was just lounging around her house being bugged by her nosy and persistent friends.

Alice: You could just call her to say good morning. The first rule of a siege is to always think one step ahead. Alice said as she went to sit down next to Bette on the couch.

Bette: But I also dont want to overwhelm her. Bette replied as she slipped her legs under her and sipped her coffee.

Alice: You wont. Alice gave up her attack, realizing that it was futile. When Bette had her mind set there was no changing it. I will say though, that I couldnt have planned a better date myself. As a writer she must have loved Remys.

Bette: She did. She really opened up. A smiling Bette remembered.

Shane: Why do you only have health food? Shane asked as she came out of the kitchen with Dana.

Dana: Because, she is health conscious. And that is a good thing. Dana said as she was sitting down in her seat.

Shane: Maybe, but it sure doesnt make you happy. Shane said as she sat on the floor with her coffee.

Alice: So what do you guys think? Should she call her? Or wait?

Shane: Wait. Let her come to you. Youve laid all of the groundwork. She should make the next step.

Alice: Ok, now to hear from someone who doesnt have an ego the size of Pluto. Dana? Alice gestured to Dana with her coffee.
