    Bette say hi to Chris. Bette and Tina hang out enjoying each other’s company.

    Chapter 31

     

    “Bette? Who’s Bette?” Lauren asks looking at Chris.

    Tina has walked to the door.

    “She’s Tina’s girlfriend. Bette Porter, the golfer.” Chris whispers.

    “Oh, she’s here?” Lauren says surprised.

    Chris and Lauren follow Tina into the hallway. Tina is opening the door.

    She smiles as she sees Bette stand there. She takes Bette’s hand and pulls her inside. She leans in for a quick kiss on her lips.

    “Hi babe.” Tina says as she still is smiling.

    “Hi Tee.” Bette replies.

    Tina closes the door and turns her attention to Chris and Lauren who is a little taken aback with the kiss.

    “This is Bette, Bette, this is my brother Chris and his wife Lauren and their son Jason.” Tina says. Bette let go of Tina’s hand and reaches out her hand to Chris.

    “Nice to meet you.” Bette says and smiles.

    “Nice to meet you too.” Chris says.

    Hi, nice to meet you too.” Bette says and reaches out her hand to Lauren.

    “Yes, nice to meet you too.” Lauren says.

    “Well, we should get going.” Tina says after a few seconds.

    “Yes, we should.” Bette agrees.

    Tina sees that Chris is a little disappointed that they have to leave so soon.

    “Chris, if you want to, maybe we could get together on Monday?” Tina asks Chris.

    “I would like that very much. Why don’t you two come to dinner here?” Chris replies.

    Tina looks over at Bette who nods and smiles.

    “Yes, that would be great.” Tina says.

    Chris hand Jason back to Lauren. He walks closer to Tina.

    Bette leans in to Tina’s ear.

    “I’ll meet you out in the car.” Bette whispers and walks out.

    Lauren walks back into the living room with Jason.

    Tina and Chris are left alone. They look at each other.

    “Would it be okay, if I gave you a hug?” Chris asks as a tear find its way down his cheek.

    Tina smiles at him and put her arms around him and pulls him into a tight hug.

    He starts to cry again. Tina just holds him close, she too starts to cry. After several minutes she breaks away, but still holding him close. She looks into his eyes.

    “We’re gonna be okay.” Tina she whispers softly. “I have to go, but I’ll see you on Monday.” Tina says and let go of him.

    7. I hope that Bette will do well. You know there are so many B&T beginnings with so much drama that I love to read them being very happy. Even though they have to go through a lot of struggles, like Bette trying to make it back on tour and Tina meeting her family, they are facing them together. Please continue with the positive outcome. Loved the chapter…as I always love your story.

    8. I am so glad that Tina finally has her siblings back. I don’t care that much if the parents come around, but everyone need to know that they can count on a bro or sis for support. Another very good chapter, as usual. I hope you get to post again today. Looking forward to it!
