Tina uses a few seconds to get herself together and then follows Bette.
She sees Bette sitting on the couch, with Andrea in her arms. She hasn’t started feeding her yet. Tina stops in front of her and smiles, she takes a seat.
“You couldn’t help it?” Bette says and smiles.
“I’m just gonna watch.” Tina says and moves her hand onto Andrea’s head.
“Oh come on, you know you want to.” Bette says and smiles.
Tina doesn’t reply, she just looks into Bette’s eyes.
Bette lay Andrea down on her lap, getting ready for nursing.
“No, let me.” Tina finally says. She glances quickly over at the twins, they are engrossed in their legos. She lifts up Bette’s shirt and then she unclasps the cup. It’s a breastfeeding bra. She then gently lift the breast up and cups it. Bette let’s out a soft moan and then she lifts Andrea up and Andrea finds the nipple right away.
“See, that wasn’t so hard, was it?” Bette says and smiles.
“No.” Tina replies with a voice full of desire. Bette keeps smiling.
“I love you Tina.” Bette says and leans over and kiss Tina’s lips.
Andrea is happily nursing and not noticing the interaction between her parents.
“Bette, you can’t do this to me and just stop.” Tina says in almost a whispers.
“Do what?” Bette asks, pretending not to know what Tina is talking about. She smirks a little.
Tina smiles and leans in for another kiss.
“I love you too.” Tina says. “How about later, after the kids are asleep, we lay down together?” Tina suggests.
“T, baby, you know I can’t… at least for six weeks.” Bette says.
“I know that. But we could still fool around. I just need you close to me Bette.” Tina says and looks into Bette’s eyes with a deep longing.
“We can do that.” Bette whispers as Andrea is finishing up.
“How about lunch?” Tina asks as she stands up.
“Yeah, I’m hungry.” Bette replies.
“What about you guys, are you hungry?” Tina asks looking over at the boys.
“Yes, I am.” Noah replies.
“Me too.” Danny also says.
“Okay, I’ll make us some lunch.” Tina says and walks into the kitchen and start cooking. She decided on egg and bacon.

I haven’t read this one yet but just wanted to let you know that I’ve spent the last weekend reading up on this story as well as In sickness and in love and absolutely love them. You’re doing an absolutely fabulous job. I still have a lot to catch up on…gotta go read.
Wow, I kind of get the feeling that what was causing Bette to freak out a little was that she was not around for Julia. She missed having that closeness with her other daughter and now that this one has come she just wants everything to be right. Maybe a little nervouse still about Noah’s illness. Sure hope Tina understands and hangs in there for Bette.
you get an extra star for having them watch Gilmore Girls!! hmmmm, poor bette is having some motherhood issues! I’m thinking I agree with the post that Bette is trying to make-up for leaving julia … she feels she needs to be perfect… love this story! please post soon!
