Chapter 189
They walk up the stairs and Bette hears Andrea crying. She rushes inside and sees Tina walking back and forth with Andrea trying to calm her down.
“Baby, what’s going on?” Bette asks as she walks towards Tina.
“I don’t know. She’s been crying almost the whole time. I guess she misses you.” Tina says.
“Why didn’t you call me?” Bette asks.
“She’s only crying Bette. I can handle that.” Tina replies.
“Apparently you can’t.” Bette snaps back.
“What’s that suppose to mean?” Tina asks surprised by Bette’s tone.
“If you can handle it, she would’ve calmed down sooner, you would’ve been able to get her to stop crying…I’m sorry.” Bette says and rocks Andrea to sleep right away. She’s probably so exhausted from all the crying.
“No, Bette. Do you think I’m not capable of taking care of your daughter?” Tina asks with a little angry tone.
Bette looks at Tina then down at Andrea.
“Our daughter Tina, our daughter.” Bette replies.
Jessie and Julia sees that it will be a while before they’re done, so they make an exit.
“From what you just said, you made it sound that it’s your daughter and that I don’t know how to take care of her. I’ve had kids Bette. I know what to do.” Tina says, still angry.
“I know, I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.” Bette says.
“Don’t you trust me with her?” Tina asks in a little softer tone.
“Off course I do… it’s just…” Bette says, but is interrupted by Tina.
“Then what Bette?” Tina asks.
Bette doesn’t answer right away. Tina takes that as a sign… She leaves the room and walks into the bedroom and shut the door.
Danny stands up.
“Mama, why’s mommy angry?” He asks looking up at his mama.
“It’s a grown up thing sweetie. Mommy will calm down soon.” Bette says and looks worriedly over towards the hallway.
Bette walks over to the crib and carefully put Andrea down. She’s still asleep. She then walk back over to the boys.
“Could you stay here and play. And come and get me if Andrea wakes up? I’ll be in the bedroom with mommy.” Bette says to the boys.
“Okay.” Danny says and Noah nods.

I haven’t read this one yet but just wanted to let you know that I’ve spent the last weekend reading up on this story as well as In sickness and in love and absolutely love them. You’re doing an absolutely fabulous job. I still have a lot to catch up on…gotta go read.
Wow, I kind of get the feeling that what was causing Bette to freak out a little was that she was not around for Julia. She missed having that closeness with her other daughter and now that this one has come she just wants everything to be right. Maybe a little nervouse still about Noah’s illness. Sure hope Tina understands and hangs in there for Bette.
you get an extra star for having them watch Gilmore Girls!! hmmmm, poor bette is having some motherhood issues! I’m thinking I agree with the post that Bette is trying to make-up for leaving julia … she feels she needs to be perfect… love this story! please post soon!

waoo Bette was a little hars with Tina glad that they can talk and fix their issues. They need to have a little of funny time.i love this story
